QQ becuase Dizzying Swing is the answer to Living Dark and other AOE, DOT resist builds...
When I have to decide between an execute and Dizzying Swing ... I CHOSE DIZZYING SWING!!!(if they heal, your execute turns to trash damage... dizzy is constant)
When I have to choose between any stam templar move(*** face jabs that get nerfed by major evasion) or Dizzying swing... I CHOSE DIZZYING SWING!!!
When I have to heal or use Dizzying Swing... I CHOOSE DIZZYING SWING!!!!(Lets face it 2h heal is trash now. let it expire heal u...)
When I have to chose between surprise attack or dizzying swing I CHOSE DIZZYING SWING..(surprise attack is utterly worthless IMO I don't cloak as an NB)
When I have to choose between DK DOTS and Dizzing Swing... I PUT THE DOTS ON THEN DIZZY SWING!!!(DK ORC FTW)
When I have to choose between an Ulti and Dizzying Swing...I CHOSE DIZZYING SWING!!! (I go use flawless dawnbreaker in the middle of nowhere for the 300 WD. I have dizzy to stun)
When I have to choose between champion points and dizzying swing... I CHOSE DIZZYING SWING!!! (with cp everything in direct damage of course)
Dizzying Swing is LIFE!!!
Not that all this occurred not because dizzying swing was buffed or is better...it is because ZoS nerfed everything on the board...So then they caused another pigeon hole... like they did back in the day when everybody and their mothers were using dawnbreaker of smiting... (i was using sweeps but they nerfed it for stamina users... it's utter trash...)
I didn't have veiled heritance or Ravager to proc my damage from AoE (usually my jabs) or DoT moves (which some get nerfed by major evasion) So what did I do? What did everybody else did?
We picked up Dizzying Swing....
Surprise attack is worthless... 5% physical resistance decrease? NO... 10% would have been ok...Then you try to justify that by saying that worthless mark move reduces 5k resists... I don't slot that mark move on my bar.. do you know why? I don't cloak....I don't gank....Everybody and their mothers know to run away when you place that mark on them... it has become trash to even place.. no real NB would use it...I only have 50-60 skill points on the NB and I can see that...
I mean..why in the hell would I try to run or heal when there are strong DOTS on me? Go straight to them ....Dizzy them... because if i try to jab somebody with anything around them (pets, people, guards, etc) .. that sure as hell won't work..
Oh and now that I realized bash moves faster than a light attack... hmmm...there is something there... As bash is also a single target direct damage...
The direct damage sorcs knew they key to play all along...
Now to be fair...I am probably not finding anything new....this was probably some old style of play that was not widely used until the nerfs...
ZoS's answer will probably be to do what they did to Dawnbreaker...luckily I haven't been animation cancelling recently lol...
Remember I use flawless dawnbreaker in the middle of nowhere to get 300 WD for 20 seconds... Back in the day flawless gave me 6% WD... I was able to hit some high numbers with that with ravager.... now I lowered my WD since I get a constant 300 WD... and put that into other places...
TLDR: ZoS fault I use Dizzying Swing...Direct Damage is the new Meta...ORC DK FTW....
EDIT: This was made before the pts patch update and was made as a joke to show that yes. I did do all these things because it was truly OP. Now maybe dizzying swing should have stayed the same, but then how would they fix the rest of the classes to make sure that people would choose their class ability over dizzy? They just made "progress" these past months nerfing classes. Now instead of changing classes again. Just change one skill. I am having fun watching the tears flow
No, dizzy swing will NOT get its stun back. It was stupid to have to begin with.
If dizzy swing will get it stun back,
1. It's cast time must be removed.
2. Its damaged halfed (or 75% of current) and
3. it stuns on the spot removing the knockback.
4. The removal of the current off-balance.
Personally I like the new change to Dizzying swing.
1. Sets the person off-balance giving %more damage to the enemy
2. Can heavy attack an off balance person to stun them
3. Gain more resources when you heavy attack an off balanced person
4. Choose when to stun within about 8 seconds of off balance.
5. Gives them less time to predict when the combo is coming...if you are good.
