as much as this is brought up about cyrodill, IC could REALLY use pve and pvp versions.

    That assumes that pve and pvp are segregated neatly into those 2 groups. That however is not the case. Many partake in both activities, I am one of them.

    Whether or not I need risk vs reward in a PvE environment is irrelevant. The option for me is there.

    If they removed the PvE aspect of this game I would find another game. If they removed the PvP aspect of this game I would find another game.

    This "us vs them" stuff does nothing for portion of the game that enjoys all of it.

    PVE players do get the same treatment as PVP players, they just dont like it. PVE players are entitled babies. They can learn to stand in one place with a static rotation but the moment they need to block or do content without someone spamming heals for them they are utterly incapable of playing.

    1. Doesn't matter, you get every event but 2 and you *** and whine during the entire event. They even have ways to cater to PVE players, who are unable to even have basic reading skills to see the event isnt strictly pvp.
    2. More eso+ subs in PVE? That's opinion and it's wrong. PVP players have more reason to get eso+ they need the new gear. PvE players can play without it.

    Starting zone chats are more toxic, bad performance isn't tied to players, it's tied to the servers for the company you have your paychecks at, bad balance is subjective and also comes from pve mostly. As you said yourself, larger population right?

    If they shutdown PVP they'd lose a lot of their whales and better players. Things like endgame trial guilds would suffer.

    If you were really stating just facts you would have mentioned that no matter what is said that no matter what is said in request for a PvE Cyrodiil and IC that Zos is sticking to their guns and keeping PvP in any and every instance of those two zones as they intended from the start. Just stating the real facts.

    BTW, I edited out the rest because it is really irrelevant. Also, you seem to be misguided in thinking that your argument is with PvP players. It is Zos that owns this.

    I think it is funny how PvE people complain about the toxicity in PvE. We see it in the forums, people complaining about the group GF made for them in one way or another, Especially when they are kicked from a group. Odd how that is.

    You fundamentally misunderstand PVP.

    Loss of Progress is how PVP works.
    You die?
    You lose progress.
    You have to respawn elsewhere and run back to the fight, sometimes quite the distance.
    You might lose the objective in the time that takes, or you might miss an AP tick because you weren't there.
    You can't help your teammates while dead, waiting for a respawn, or heading back to the fight.

    There's no penalty for dying, except the loss of progress. We don't even take armor damage from deaths in PVP.

    Imperial City just makes the loss of progress obvious because you lose Tel Var when you die. It puts a number on your loss of progress, and oh, how that burns!

    PVE players in ESO almost never have to face losing progress in PVE, unless they are super bad at justice system content. That's in marked contrast to how some MMOs handled death in PVE. In ESO's PVE, you just respawn when you die or revive at the end of the boss fight I've lost more progress than that to game crashes in Skyrim when I forgot to quicksave.

    So much of the whining about Tel Var loss comes from PVEers who never learned that you don't count your thieving gains till your gotten to the Outpost refuge, you don't count your Tel Var before you've put it in the bank, and you don't count your chickens before they hatch.

    If you can't handle losing progress when you die, don't queue up for a PvPvE zone. Stick to PVE. Oh, and avoid guards if you've got stolen goods and a bounty. We wouldn't want you to lose progress.

    I would like to see a "troll" weekend event that ZOS sets up, turning off PvP in Cyrodil and IC and you can earn a "Carebear" title from the event.

    Sure make a PvE version of IC, but without Telvar, key fragments, no pet/skin drops from molag bal etc.
    Getting higher tier stuff should be bound to some kind of risk and or effort.
