No you didn't.It clearly shows with the most basic attacks,no cp,etc.... that the overland content is far too easy.
you cannot tell ANYTHING in that video. did that goblin jump away or were they pushed. you can barely see what they are doing, because, again conveniently - they are playing in first person, hiding most animations, along with hiding UI. it also REALLY makes a difference what gear and weapons you are using and whether you have food buff on. which video conveniently hides. last but not least. its. a TRASH. mob. of the sort of trash that attacks in groups. why do you insist that trash is supposed to drag on?
this video proves nothing outside of OP willing to fudge their "demonstration"
the only thing you show in a video in original post (which I watched twice btw, just to make sure) is that you have CP over 300 indicating at least one max level character on the account and enough time at lvl 50 to be a bit more familiar with a game. that you took that CP out doesn't change above or that none of the other information you claim is present in actual video. and that you attacked a trash mob, A singular trash mob that normally would be grouped up in a clump of 2-4 goblins at a time.

If he were using skills you would be able to tell still.I just tested it.Even though I never go into first person.I tested to see,and was able to see every single ability in my rotation. Apparently you didn't even notice that they are using a sword and board and still killed easily. So in this respect that gives it a little more weight.

A level four character gets buffs because it is level four. Do the same fight with the same gear and same circumstances as mentioned on a level forty character and I'm pretty sure the fight will be much tougher. In fact people have complained that their characters seem to get weaker not stronger as they level.
Overland is too simple for most players but that is the problem. It is too simple for most not all. That is why they probably won't change the difficulty. Would be nice if they let us hinder our own characters to make it a better fight though.
Just add a seperate veteran overland mode.
NO, it will not split the playerbase. The players who want to play veteran overland mode aren't grouping with the noobs in overland.
NO, it will not make things harder for new players, it's a seperate mode.

I cannot believe I let myself waste so much time on this... its. a trash. mob.
at least the other time people tried to prove something with a video - they did it on a troll with UI showing.
reminder. the game used to be harder and more punishing. the game almost died. ZoS made overland easier. there are more players then ever.

Oh yeah, definitely. Let me go try to get better vs a goblin once I'm level 40 instead of level 4 when your character has little to no experience with fighting.
There is no possible way they actually believe they got it right the first time. I'm not calling for a complete anti noob experience but something that doesn't cause THIS:

When we had vet zones people complained about them being too difficult and, for the most part, they were fairly empty of players.
A simple YouTube search shows that people were killing alit with 1 arrow

"if you want harder content go vma naked, go trials naked. Leave our 2000+ quests with dumb difficulty!"
same idiotic answers over and over again. It will never change.
"if you want harder content go vma naked, go trials naked. Leave our 2000+ quests with dumb difficulty!"
same idiotic answers over and over again. It will never change.
The only idiotic thing is how these types of threads continue to crop up posted by players who have some kind of mental issue understanding the type of game they CHOSE TO PLAY versus other types of game that THEY DIDN'T CHOOSE TO PLAY.
ESO has no meaningful parkour.
ESO does not have true aim.
No "kill the monsters/other players" game without both parkour and true aim will ever be a "hard" or "challenging" game, so you chose to play what is and always will be an easy casual game at its core. Either choose to enjoy it for what it is, or choose to go and play something else.
Compared to other games, "difficulty" in ESO is mostly a farce that has to be artificially inserted into the game via excessive boss and sidegame scripting. That's NOT meaningful difficulty, that's ROTE memorization akin to learning any arcade or console game level. Stand in front of the game with drool running down the chin and pump enough quarters in, you can eventually zombify your way into success in the game.
That's perfectly fine. Most people with jobs and lives, self included for the most part, want exactly that droolcup level of experience, because real world issues are tough enough as is, and anyone with powers of observation can tell instantly that these types of games aren't "sports" no matter what you can find late night on ESPN. Want to get "challenged?" Try something real, not a console video game.
ESO is a casual "assinchair" game meaning all it takes to get good in the game is putting one's ass in the chair long enough to "learn the levels" as opposed to any critical thinking or tactical teamplay. That's what the game is, either accept that or look foolish asking for an aardvark to be turned into an antelope.

For cryin out loud, don't use food buffs, craft some white gear, and don't allocate CP, and go quest to your heart's content. Hell take all the gear off and quest naked. Let new players who have no CP or foreknowledge of how to anticipate attacks have a chance at enjoying the game without it being overly difficult. I have a few times forgotten to allocate CP on new toons and found some fights to be harder than I remembered, then allocated CP and they were easy. Some of you uber gotta be surviving at 10% health players have got to stop asking for nerfs, because it's been 2 years of nerfs already and I'm so sick of it I'm not very active right now. I only log in to do my weekend trials to help my guild. I hate all the nerfs. My characters are getting weaker and less interesting to play with all the homogenizing. Stop crying for nerfs. Go nerf yourself.
I doubt ZOS will ever increase the difficulty. Increased difficulty would come with the expectation of improved rewards. The audience of this game expects all rewards to be accessible to them.
Look no further than vMA and 'hard modes' for evidence of this. They eventually became watered down after constant protests from those unable to complete them. Normal dungeons of the past were probably more challenging than vet dungeons of today.
This has become a game of participation prizes.

How much “knowledge” and “experience” do you seem to think goes into being able to light attack everything to death while it only does <300dps to a player (go look at the “epic” giant enemy video where this was tested)
In the video, a character in trash gear, using trash weapons, with no cp, with no stat points, with no skills, not blocking, not dodging, not interrupting, is taking nearly zero damage
At what point do you finally admit the game being played as it’s supposed to be (using gear beyond white, using food, using skills, fulfilling even the most basic mechanics of block and dodge and interrupt) makes it so unbearably easy and boring that it is not even possible to try taking it slow.
