My laptop plays this game at 60+ there was one week I had 80 to 90 FPS, and I play on high But mines not a gaming laptop i got it for photo and video editing and coding but wanted one that could play games on a decent lvl

Nothing wrong with that. I literally only upgraded from my 3820 last month. Now on a Ryzen 3600, but moved the SSDs and graphics card over.

I play xbox one X mainly but have a ps4 pro and nintendo switch too. Cant miss out the ps4 exclusives or Pokémon lol oh also have occulus rift the 2 controller version.

Amusingly, my potato does 4k, but my projector doesn't. Yes, I am one of the 3 people using controller on PC, because I'm doing it from a couch in front of an 83" screen, and my cheesy wireless KB+mouse stop working about 1 foot in front of the couch...I learned after playing Dragon Age and Fallout (1) with KB+M that my spine is happier when I use a controller.

Might start using the laptop more, and try to get back into KB+M for certain games (it's what I started with...well, started with on a 486 with Doom and Wing Commander, if you don't count the VIC20/C64 that came first, but I'm not exactly longing to go back to 2-button joysticks or paddles.) If nothing else, the electric bill should go down.

I used to be super into PC specs, overclocking, etc. back when I built and sold them in the '90s, but even though I still build/customize my own, I really haven't kept up with it. My job is computers as well, but I almost find the hardware side of things an obstacle, a bothersome pre-requisite to doing something interesting.

That said, my PS4 is for Horizon Zero Dawn. Too many advantages to PC gaming, especially for Bethesda games, so I save the consoles for exclusives.

Xbox one x and have the game on an external ssd. Seems to decrease loading times. Used to play on pc but didnt like the addons wars, it got to the point some were playing the game for you lol. It's been years since I've been on pc so maybe they've changed but some were basically cheats. For example the one that would tell you when to block when someone was targeting you so you couldn't be ganked.

Most people cheap out on monitors. Most consoles use TVs w/ 4k. Most PC gamers use 1080p monitors and don't pay $400+ for a 4k monitor.


It wasn't a matter of can the device do it, its a matter of can your hardware do it.
