After playing ESO for years on Laptops, finally i got the Time, location and money right for my Beast PC. This thing has been absolute madness in Terms of game Performances. In FarCry5, SoTR, it broke 140 FPS easy on Ultra settings, however for ESO somehow FPS is capped at 100 with VSync off (I think, cant remember if it was on) but anyhow, it was a major improvement for my gaming experience in ESO coming from laptops and finally being able to play the game in High Graphics settings.

Why the weak burn? This has to be the forum equivalent of a 10k light attack spamming dps on Rillis in vet BC2.

I don't care about OP spec either, but I'm not waving my bank account balance at him for whatever reason. So the guy/gal has a hobby... That's nice.

You don't sound like you do. You just sound like you can't afford a PC or the knowledge to build one but you somehow gotta make up for it by lying on the internet. It's ok to be a console peasant, we don't gotta know how much money you make. You'd have a PC.

    i5 8600, gtx 1066, 16gb ram, 2x ssd. Have PS4 Pro too.

No way i will play ESO on console. No addons, no TTC, no tools, no PTS, no flex customizations, slowpoke updates, meh control via gamepad including text chat.

Console is a greatest place for single player story driven exclusives, and i'm sure as hell about it after played some of them.

Not a single issue. At all. My 1050ti gives me problems in the big dolmen groups in the desert but that's it.

Mine was a beast PC ... in 2014 when i bought it. Luckly PC specs life expectancy has been widened lately. I can play on optimal video config with good FPS - from 35 to 100 depending on the situation. My "old" R9 290 still rocks the house.

My gaming PC consists of returned/cannibalized parts, and frankly ... I have no idea what's currently inside, except for 32 GB of RAM and an ATI graphics card so old there have been no driver updates for it in years.
    OS is Win 8.1.
Monitor is a huge widescreen which took some time getting used to.

This hellish machine ;) runs single player games quite well, even with advanced graphics... if they were published before 2015.
It also runs ESO surprisingly well with decent-ish settings, but that's definitely due to the RAM.
I know because I tried to switch to a Win 10 rig with a waaay newer processor and graphics card only recently, but that one had only 16 GB and the old one didn't fit ... and ESO was a slideshow all of a sudden. A *very* slow slideshow.
It was so bad that I switched back to my trusty old 32 gig machine.

EDIT: Now that I'm home I looked up some details:

    - Win 8.1 pro 64bit
    - LG UltraWide curved monitor, though I have no way of measuring its width right now. Makes for terrible screenshots, but otherwise grand.
    - processor is a AMD Phenom II X6 1090t from 2011
    - graphics card is a AMD Radeon 5700 from 2009.

This beautiful rig runs Dishonored in all its glory and does rather well with Bioshock II HD (minus the CTDs but those are hardly my rig's fault), but it has trouble with Thief (2014) so I need to *not* run this in 2560x1080 and with all particle effects.
SWTOR would run gloriously on a Philips Hue bridge so that 's hardly a way of measuring performance xD.

EDIT 2: I miss my Matrox Mystique & 3Dfx Voodoo board combo from back in the Ardennes.

I was on an i5 6600K before a faulty PSU fried my whole system. I replaced it with an r5 1600. I didn't notice any difference in performance. The game ran like crap on both.

Actually I think ESO will run well on most PCs (4 cores, maybe even 2 cores?) of the last 10 years. A halfway decent GFX card will help with the view range and details, but that could be turned down, without suffering too much.
Went from FX-8120 to 1800X when the Ryzen came out, faster RAM, way faster SSD, same GFX - no huge difference after all, so I'll certainly not upgrade my system for a while.

I've run this game on the following specs with identical performance:

    i5 6600K + GTX 660
    i5 6600K + GTX 970
    r5 1600 + GTX 1080

The only thing that changes is the upper limit on FPS (GTX 660 capped out at ~60 FPS, GTX 970 at ~120 FPS, and the GTX 1080 at 144+ FPS). They all drop to the same 20-40 FPS in towns/content. This game was designed to run on hardware from 2014. I just wish newer hardware could squeeze more performance out of it.
