"I bear the cruel weight of certainty. Total, absolute, relentless certainty. People rarely comprehend the luxury of doubt... the freedom that comes with indecision. I envy you."
―Sotha Sil
This thread is great! I could finally prove to my other half, that gaming isn't just for sweaty basement teens with a master's degree in thornhub 😆

PhD candidate researching digital games, climate change and behaviour change/adaptation. Formerly a senior systems engineer for a string of multinational web based companies.
I worked at Wal-Mart for ten years. The job wasn't too bad-at least for the first eight years I was there but then new management came in, we moved to a much bigger store and they tried to run it with the same amount of people they'd had working the much smaller store. I ended up messing up my knees due to always being on them while stocking shelves and had to be transferred to light duty. Then In 2006 I ended up developing lymphedema in my legs due to a really bad case of poison ivy and I've been on disability ever since. I spend most of my day writing, exercising and doing my best to be there for others like other's have been there for me. Due to how bad my legs got I'm pretty lucky to be alive so just do my best to remain grateful.
Vineyard/Fruit block hand mostly, seasonal work of various types, fruit picking/working in the silo's during grain harvest/factory process work bit of forklift operating.
All casual but I get what I can find, sadly a lack of permanent work around.
Engineer for technical building equipment and freelancer game designer.
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
I am currently a full time college student going for my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. 2 more years to go then I can finally join the work force. Absolutely terrified as school is all I have ever known.
IT supervisor but can't I'm not allowed to tell where :P

Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.
"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge
Retired oldie now but was a signwriter and pub sign artist for many years. Signwriting was traditionally a man's job until I came along and I was the first female signwriter in Britain back then.
I still paint portraits now and again, mostly of people's pets (and my own).
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.
I'm a building inspector by main trade but I also herd reindeers with my father, who's done it for decades. I also earn a little by building log cabins, log saunas and/or small storage houses.
Edit. I've inspected the Autumn's Gate and I tell you, it doesn't fit the Building Code..
