The good news is we already have a fix in testing, but the bad news is it's not something we're able to hotfix; it will be published with the next incremental patch on Monday.

@ZOS_MattFiror addressed Cyrodiil performance issues back in 2016 and said they would continue working on the problem until was resolved. So they've already been hard at work for 3 years solving this issue.

We wanted to give you another update. As mentioned earlier this morning, we are testing a fix for the game crash that many of you are currently experiencing. If the fix passes testing, we are looking to move up the incremental patch to this weekend. We want to get this fixed as soon as possible, and are doing everything in our power to expedite the process. We'll keep you updated as we have more info. Thanks again for your patience.

Not bothered at all that it took weeks just to get an answer about why we only got part of the update that was supposed to deal with bashcros on console, and even then the news was that we could live with it til the next DLC.
PS : If I sum all my chars...
You have to wait until Monday? Boo hoo. On console, we crash daily (and have been for a long time), and we have also been dealing with unpatched Necromancer bash builds in Cyrodiil since Elsweyr launched. That fix you guys got weeks (nay, months) ago for necro bashers? We’re only getting it when Scalebreaker launches for us.
So, you know, could be worse. At least ZOS doesn’t treat you like a second class citizen.
Edit: what’s funny too is that when we inherit the patch that screwed everything up for you guys, we’ll probably have to deal with an increased rate of crashes for weeks. No rapid patches for us! So glad I cancelled ESO plus.
since it seems to late to include the fix in scalebreaker release for console next week, don't worry, for a month or so, till we get the fix on console, we will stop to crash daily, we will crash hourly or even more, enjoy!
By the way, ZoS, have you planned a compensation for console players? since we don't get all the "free to exploit with no ban" features that pc players get? (one berry indrik, free necro class, free billions gold for guilds..)

Console players don't matter much at all, that I've learned by now.
Sounds like this "fix" requires a client update. If this PvP crashing issue makes it to console when the new DLC drops, I shudder to think how long it will take before it's patched.SweepsAllClowns wrote: »Console players don't matter much at all, that I've learned by now.
