So nothing to do in pvp till Monday. Coz crashing 3 times within 2min is not enjoyable and q for bg is only resulting in loss+penalty.

Hi everyone, the crash you all have been experiencing is likely one that started with the most recent incremental patch. The good news is we already have a fix in testing, but the bad news is it's not something we're able to hotfix; it will be published with the next incremental patch on Monday.

Why only the things that affect monetization are the only ones that can be solved with a Hotfix?

    e.g. Necromancers.

    Hi everyone,

We wanted to give you another update. As mentioned earlier this morning, we are testing a fix for the game crash that many of you are currently experiencing. If the fix passes testing, we are looking to move up the incremental patch to this weekend. We want to get this fixed as soon as possible, and are doing everything in our power to expedite the process. We'll keep you updated as we have more info. Thanks again for your patience.

THIS IS A FREAKIN' MAJOR ISSUE.

Where is acknowledgement/communication from ZoS ?????

    2020 they said

@ZOS_MattFiror addressed Cyrodiil performance issues back in 2016 and said they would continue working on the problem until was resolved. So they've already been hard at work for 3 years solving this issue.

eso was going forward slowly , tiny tiny steps but now a huge step backward , now you have to fix bugs that only can be seen in beta state of a game .. instead of fixing performance first you had to completely change gameplay which led to this ..
it's like you trying to fix bathroom in a house with broken foundations . :) it's gonna go down very soon if you don't do something about it .

ZOS, perhaps you should not make patches that change half the skills in the game, and instead invest more time keeping the codebase solid.

I don't sub or buy your should-be-illegal loot crates, so the recent avalanche of bugs and design issues doesn't bug me too much, but I can see why people who are paying $15 a month are upset.

Just the crashing? What about the other issues? Will this fix that too? And is this going to hit console as well?

I honestly cant fathom trying to pvp on console with WORSE performance issues than there are now, plus the constant crashing. The 30 day is already unplayable.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for communicating, and giving us not one, but TWO updates. This is what it's about! It really does mean a lot to your community, no matter what the outcome is. We appreciate it and know that our complaints aren't personal, it's because everyone wants ESO to be the greatest it can be and we don't want to see it fail. We know you all are also extremely busy and doing a million things otherwise while trying to deal with this and other ongoing issues. There is a reason why #ESOFam exists, and even in these situations that still stands strong, we've got nothing but love for you all and it's also why we all struggle together.

Again, thank you, it means a lot.

Well, for the love of all that is good in the world at least have staff on site who can intervene if this patch breaks as much as the last one.

Don't flip the switch on this patch at 5pm on Friday as everyone walks out of the office, and then leave us to another dumpster fire quality server.

Warms my heart to see how fast this is addressed for PC...updates and trying to get things done faster.
Not bothered at all that it took weeks just to get an answer about why we only got part of the update that was supposed to deal with bashcros on console, and even then the news was that we could live with it til the next DLC.

You have to wait until Monday? Boo hoo. On console, we crash daily (and have been for a long time), and we have also been dealing with unpatched Necromancer bash builds in Cyrodiil since Elsweyr launched. That fix you guys got weeks (nay, months) ago for necro bashers? We’re only getting it when Scalebreaker launches for us.

So, you know, could be worse. At least ZOS doesn’t treat you like a second class citizen.

Edit: what’s funny too is that when we inherit the patch that screwed everything up for you guys, we’ll probably have to deal with an increased rate of crashes for weeks. No rapid patches for us! So glad I cancelled ESO plus.

since it seems to late to include the fix in scalebreaker release for console next week, don't worry, for a month or so, till we get the fix on console, we will stop to crash daily, we will crash hourly or even more, enjoy!

By the way, ZoS, have you planned a compensation for console players? since we don't get all the "free to exploit with no ban" features that pc players get? (one berry indrik, free necro class, free billions gold for guilds..)

Don't know about the others, but we did get the Onyx indrik with one berry on Xbox at least. They hotfixed it a few hours after the first day it happened, but then they unpatched it a few days later like a bunch of apes. I think I got my Onyx indrik a day or so after the first event ended. I don't know if it still works since you can't buy a berry after already having that indrik type.

That’s definitely the impression I’m getting.

Yes, consoles have a patch authentication process, and yes, it delays things to the point where devs usually try to bundle as much into one update as possible... However, when a bug is discovered between updates that makes a certain game mode frustrating and unplayable, ZOS should do everything in their power to push the fix out as soon as they can — even if it means we have to wait a week for Sony/Microsoft to approve the patch. Don’t just push it ahead to the next DLC, which could be several weeks or even months away; make it clear that you actually care about the issues that we’re dealing with.

Sounds like this "fix" requires a client update. If this PvP crashing issue makes it to console when the new DLC drops, I shudder to think how long it will take before it's patched.

It will take weeks, guaranteed. Look at the necro bash fix, for instance: by the time console gets the fix, it will have been fifty-eight days since PC players got that exact same fix.

I'm completely immune to lag and crashes with my stuck account since Wrathstone, locking players in character selection screen is the premium fix for most problems, I wonder when this amazing feature hits the majority of players.
