The game is just so disappointing and it gets worse over time. So many things that are triggering in ESO. Crashes, lagg, streakbug, aurora javelin stun unbreakable half of the time.

And many major ability bugs takes months to be fixed, bugs coming back after a few patches it's just sad.

So much potential, so little care.

This doesn't work, though. The more decline in player base they see, the less resources they will funnel into a dying product. You're not going to motivate a business to spend more money by withholding funds. They aren't a child you can manipulate by cutting off their allowance. As long as their marketing department is luring in enough to new customers to replace the frustrated players leaving for a better gaming experience, they will continue to invest a minimum amount of funds and labor into keeping the servers turned on and somewhat functional, while they focus on their new (and potentially more profitable) products.

It seems the crash reporter was nerfed too. Just a few days ago I had 14 crashes in one day, and every time I was able to log a crash report because the crash reporter popped up. Since yesterdays patch, I've crashed 9 times, however the crash reporter has only popped up on 2 of those, so I've only been able to log 2 crash reports.

The "crash" is prob happening because there is too many people fighting in the area. Something like this has happened a few times in the past with Cyrodiil, there servers have always had a hard time managing the stress in the area. So, it's really not surprising anymore when i hear people crashing in the area.

I have not had the crash to desktop all weekend. Hope they figure out the rest of you. Pretty crazy that I was happy to have the old laggy server of pre Elswyr. Maybe that's their plan.

Hm.. EU pc - Yesterday (sunday) i played pvp in evening for maybe 3-4 hours and no crash for me and friend

@ZOS_GinaBruno adress this to dev team: they hadn'd fix problem on Friday. If its pets.....well its time to disable them after 5 years

@ZOS_GinaBruno So far we stopped using the spirit guardian from necro and crashed way less. I'm not sure if it is the reason but it feels like it.

Lose that and what's left? We are literally the foundation you have built your empire on, shouldn't it be a solid one? Money may always be the motivator, but the player should always be the focus. I don't think I have to remind any gaming company out there in 2019 that the entire industry is on very shaky ground right now, it's a bad time to forget to take care of the most important aspects. The sad part is the most severe impact is going to be on new players, which should always come into a game welcomed with a positive experience, not the opposite.

Speaking towards the entirety of Bethesda/ZOS as a whole, we the player in your communities are literally spending countless hours and days pleading with you and asking for resolution and actual positive outcomes with little to nothing in response and return. Players should be your #1 valued investment, it sure doesn't feel that way anymore and that's definitely not something that should be ignored.

Seems to me their business plan was actually making players leave and having new players take their place. At least the scaling seems to support that anyway. They didn't count on that so many of us would stick around to be thanked for our patience...

What the two of you are describing is exactly what I and others predicted way back when they first introduced the crown store and microtransactions. This is the norm for the free to play, "churn" model. This is not a surprise, we've known it was coming all along.

Actually, ESO has done better at this than most games.

The crashes are not related to the number of people or the server load @ZOS_GinaBruno - we also crashed to basically empty keeps yesterday.

Although we have never crashed out of combat / without enemies in sight yet.

Check out my post on the forum under General Eso Discussion Warning: You May Lose Rank Levels -- which can happen when you crash. You will see others have had this happen and had other missing items since crashes.

Sadly, if it does happen you're just out of luck. I've been waiting for close to 48hrs for support on this. I lost my Alliance Skill Lines - Support and Assault which was a rank 10 and dropped to 1 -- locked all my skills and passives for that skill line. I am a level 44 Warlord I can assure you after 50 million AP while using Alliance skils my skill line was rank 10. I cannot purchase the skill line to get it back because the account shows I already have it. It did give me back the skill points for it too... weird.

To sum it up: When I crashed on 8/29 5 pm at Chal Keep when DC had hammer -- I restarted the game, the game popped up You gained a skill line for EVERY skill line in the game. I noticed both weapon bars were missing skills and went to put them back and I couldn't.

So fair warning -- if you play right now and crash -- you can lose skill lines!

They either don't know what they are doing and are incompetent or just don't have the professional pride required to do fixes. With one fix already implemented and the lack of change to frequent crashes.....its one of the two options only. So its not a matter of responding to players now....its talking about the elephant in the room.

Deactivate your addons before going to Cyrodiil.

I found that unchecking TTC and MM helped a lot with the screen freezing. There is still lag but at least you'll be able to move when you want.

The only addons I leave on when I go to Cyrodiil is my UI addon that tracks my buffs.

Even with no addons, there is horrendous lag but ZoS is working on that. In the meantime, deactivate your addons. It does help.
