My strongest character is:

Situation: a call for aid comes through guild or zone chat “Can’t kill X please HALP”
Assuming it doesn’t take 7-15 minutes to log out to character select and log back in, Who do you bring to the fray? Who can carry the most newbs? Who is rough and ready when the fires of Minas Tirith assistance are lit?


Note: not your main necessarily. My main is a Templar healer master crafter with a ton of content done, but isn’t who I bring to a gun show.

Also, please post pics of your mightiest hero, I’m having a bad day.

If I'm helping someone in zone that can't kill X, I bring a tank that can't die. Everyone else can rez as much as they need to in order to kill whatever it is. So I guess my weakest dps characters are the ones I would choose.

If it's a dungeon that people are having trouble in, I'd assess the situation and bring the appropriate role, whether it's tank, dps or heals. The class doesn't really matter as much as the role in my opinion.

My stam sorc eats damage heals all of it and wipes droves of mobs and bosses in aoe dot crushing goodness... I've carried entire teams through vet dungeons and many newer dlc normals and some vet dlcs with minimal failure. As long as i dont take a one shot i keep going

My Stam sorc is almost finished soloing all the base game dungeons and craglorn group content. Definitely my top choice for pve.

My dk tank is a close second. Takes forever to kill anything but nigh impossible to take down unless I make a mistake.

Yeah, it would be different for PVE and PVP and would also depend on what you are trying to kill. I look at what is more fun to play rather than what is strongest.

When I answer a call to arms, I just do it with whatever character I am on. Play it to the builds strengths, and try to cover whatever is coming up short with players around.

No. It could apply but the last time this happened it was helping guildies in Craglorn.
And for pvp I’d have to be on the same faction as the askers, which I’m usually not.

She's not my strongest character in terms of DPS, but she has survivability, and could heal the other person with the twilight. Also, and most importantly, I'm never scared when I'm with my magsorc--even if I may lose, I will always jump into the fray with her

A few patches ago, when refreshing path was useful, it could also be my magblade, I felt very brave with her as well (but mostly, I just wanted to post this badass screenshot of her):

If X is an overland boss they get whatever character I am on.

If someone in guild needs help finishing a pledge or trial and they need DPS I usually bring either a magicka sorc or a magicka templar. I am getting more comfortable with my necromancers though so might start bringing those.

My Stamina Sorc, She's now kitted out for PvE content as well as PvP, since I play non CP now I just put my CP into PvE

And I feel she can do the most damage, my others I don't feel like I could be much help

Need option to say whatever character I am currently playing at the moment unless they want a specialist rule i.e. Tank because really how often does someone ask for a healer especially with next patch coming.

My stam sorc to the rescue! She's equipped to solo things, with gear such as vicious ophidian and twice-fanged snake (sustain and penetration, because I presume there is little to no group support) and skills such as crit surge and vigor to heal. Of course, she has her PvP and more group oriented gears with her so I can quickly swap the gear when doing different content. (I play no-CP PvP so I do not need to swap the CP allocation)

My stamsorc. I can essentially solo dps most dungeons.
I can also tank vDLC dungeons, on the same char, I'm currently learning the role.

That's my main. Flawless Conqueror, and I completed all vet trials by now, and some HMs, my dps is lower than what the other DDs of my guild can pull off, but the survivability is awesome. I just can't play anything else the way I play this char, I've been playing him since early 2015 while I barely scratched the surface of the other classes. I have other characters, but I fully embraced the sorc class and I want to learn and play every role on the same character. I may even make a healer build for Scalebreaker.

DK is best group support + can survive WB attention easily and wait while newbies respawn. I seriously doubt newbies enjoy when somebody comes to "help" and just nukes WB in 10 seconds while those newbies are dead or don't understand wut's going on.
