When I see a call go out, I look at the character that I currently am driving around. If it can help, I go. If it can't, I do not respond.

Why?

Because by the time I log out - log back in with a different character - get to the area that needed help - IT'S OVER

Has nothing to do with 'choosing' what character to 'send'. It's all about 'can I help right now?' .

Most often killing some time somewhere in Tamriel on my templar PvP healer, waiting for the Cyrodiil queue to end.
If queue is long enough, I'm teaming up with other players with help-requests for WB's.

Not necessary my templar though, underneath my magcro just finished a team up when another player appeared.
So waiting it out until World Boss respawns for a second serving (Soulfire Plateau, Auridon).

My magsorcs and magplar are the most eager to answer calls for WBs, particularly during off hours. Can't leave a fellow traveler in need of a daily. They also regularly rally the zone to dragons when there's a bunch of timid lollygagging going on at 3am.

That being said I help on all of my toons most of the time.
