Yes! Separate pets from the sorc class and make pets a world skill line. Then introduce a new skill line for the class. Make sure to have more stam morphs as well.

Sorc is ok rn. Empowered ward can be too weak tho, and pets should be reworked for sure. I would like to see pets more like necro pets, as instant one slot abilities for 20 seconds. Twilight could be a class heal then. And familiar could get a stam morph and be an analog of shade or blastbones abilities. In this case they would be less dump and more reliable.

Sorc is only okay when running one of like 3 pet builds this patch. I think after this patch sustain is going to be the biggest issue because the wards are too weak and all of the dots are going to expose how bad having to use wards really is.

Are we talking about PvP or PvE? I don't use pets on my sorc since I don't feel like they are worthy to take 2 slots. Even on live rn. I should drop too much for them. And next patch is not going to change a lot for me. It can be a bit harder to sustain with shields. But in general I don't stack shields. I use stacking only under high pressure as temporal defense. I feel like mobility is better to mitigate dmg, and streak will be a bit cheaper next patch (I mean 30% cost increase instead 50%). And maybe healing power will be a bit better for sorc next patch either. I don't play goup PvE mostly, so idk how it is for sorc rn.
