Major Clunkiness Issues with Hidden Blade (DW skill and morphs) tested on PTS (Major Brutality srce)

I just read about this change and I agree it's ridiculous and unwarranted. It's been over 4 years and now all of a sudden it needs this drastic change?

Guess I'll be going back to 2 handed. Whirlwind no more execute, Shrouded Daggers no more major brutality without a clunky light or heavy attack mechanic. Why bother with the skill line anymore?

Weapon

• Dual Wield
  • Hidden Blade:
    • This ability and the Shrouded Daggers morph no longer mark the target, and now grant their Major Brutality instantly.
    • Decreased the duration of Brutality to 20 seconds from 30 seconds.
      • Flying Blade (morph):
        • Improved the responsiveness of targeting for this ability’s teleport attack when attempting to use it on an enemy within a group of targets. Tab targeting a marked target will now prioritize them, even if another target enters your field of view.
        • Increased the duration of the Major Brutality from the teleport activation to 40 seconds from 30 seconds.

Major Brutality is instant for Shrouded morph now.

They changed it to a utility skill, if you'd like a Ranged semi-aoe spammable, Silver Shard's is very good. There is already a good spammable with Flurry in the skill line, it was always odd there was 2 spammables to begin with, so I like the change, even though I used Shrouded Daggers a lot.

Whirlwind and Steel Tornado do not execute, but Whirling Blade does, most people just swapped morphs.. The base damage was buffed with the execute range lowered to 50% health instead of 100% to make sure people didn't use it as a spammable, the range was nerfed (rightly so) but still incredibly large with 6m radius, lastly the cost was reduced. It's a great ability.

Yeah I meant Steel Tornado. I'm swapping back to 2 handed. That's getting buffed while DW is getting nerfed.
