Its ether direct damage or a direct heal, that both fire 4 times 5 seconds apart. The skill is great.

They weren’t brought in line with DoT standards because they ain’t no DoTs.
I don’t know if they’re scaling with DoT passives in this game, if so, that’s the problem. Inferno (depending on the morph) is neither a HoT, nor a DoT.

they changes skills like entropy that were in a similar weird boat, this is not asking for much.
