Live: 161 + (56 × 21 ticks) / 2 = 749 average flat bonus.
After the patch: 320 + (110 × 13 ticks) / 2 = 1035 average flat bonus.
Looks like 38% buff to vMA bow, though of course it won't fully offset the nerf to the skill itself.

It looks like you're just calculating the damage added per tick. Old volley ticked twice as often so you would need to double its tick to find how they compare in average damage added per second.

yes and no, in AOE fights and bossfights with adds or minibosses there vMA will shine in overall DPS
if you only focus on a Single Target like the Serpent Endboss in vSO, there Mastersbow might be stronger.

this plus poison injection nerf that nobody talks about, yeah, seems like bow tyranny will end. or youll be expected to have vma bow in every pve content.
