Will this not be viable anymore? Just wondering because I have been grinding out the set pieces and am down to just the Iceheart stuff left....don't want to keep grinding these keys if it it's all going to be for naught.
Appreciate any help/advice. I don't normally chase the numbers meta but I really want to beat vMA :P

But you have to understand that writing 3 pages long essays about how bad it's going to be, does not work with ZOS.
The only way is to do like me: unsub and if the interface asks you why, then write about the incoming nerfs.
That's the one and only way: to force them. Because kind and constructive words have stopped working 3 years ago.
The combat team has no idea whether you subscribe to ESO Plus or have recently unsubbed. That information has no useful meaning. People leave the game every day, and it is often due to something they don't like. Your method, or the other method of sitting in a thread that does little more than cry about it, does not tell the combat team anything they don't already know. You are unhappy. That is not a lot to work with.
Personally, what I think the Combat Team needs are numbers from actual scenarios, played out on PTS, and how those numbers are impacting your game play. Not solutions. Not what-ifs. Not the difference between PTS and Live. Just numbers documenting how the changes actually impact your game play.
Companies don't work like that. Wrobel has not been fired because of our feedback, but because the holes in revenue made those who matter (CEO, CFO etc.) decide to kick him.

Do you even know why Wrobel left ZOS? If you do, should you be talking about it? If you don't, you shouldn't be talking about it.

That has nothing to do with his point, but nice attempt at deflection.
His point (and he IS correct) is that unsubbing affects the bottom line, and the bottom line determines who is doing their jobs well enough for employment, or those jobs who are not pulling their weight.
It does not take much brain power to assume (correctly) that if you come out with a huge nerf class patch and people start unsubbing en masse, why that reason is.

If he wants to talk about that, then he should not discredit himself by making references to things like why Wrobel left ZOS.
Looks like my favorite build will indeed have to take a hiatus.
Sadly the latest PTS patch notes do not address any of the issues:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/495873/pts-patch-notes-v5-2-2/p1
A 30% dot damage reduction (in addition to the 30% reduction we already have on live right now) plus the massive increase in cost is going to kill my build.

Shields: 20% duration nerf, 30% cost increase
Pets: 35%-70% damage nerf, 15% healing nerf
Liquid Lightning: 40% damage nerf

I had a pet Sorc evade death by dashing in and out and hiding behind his atronarch and canofear (either yesterday or the day before). I would've had him killed him for sure if I could only target him. Sorcs have plenty of ways to mitigate or evade damage. Streak and pets are HUGE.

"In a future patch during this PTS cycle, we will be increasing the total damage of any Damage over Time abilities that were adjusted in PTS v5.2.0 by approximately 20% to reduce situations where many of the abilities felt difficult to maintain outside of nanosecond perfect rotation. This means there will be an overall reduction in damage from DoT abilities of approximately 33% compared to what is currently on the Live megaservers."

33% overall PLUS the 30% they took off dot damage a few weeks ago. Unlike many, i haven't forgotten the pre nerfgasm stats.

This sucks balls!
...and I've just returned with a sub to this game.

I don't understand this hatred over magicka but after reading the overall notes I think they're draining power from class and AOE skills and adding it DOT damage? Also unstable wall damage got buffed
I don’t understand why they don’t just make pets scale of your max offensive stat.

I think it would be healthier for the game if most skills were designed to utilize the higher stat, rather than stam or mag morphs; consider the build diversity gained by selecting morphs based on utility or damage instead of what stat pool they drain.
