No Event Tickets for honest work?

Not sure why you feel moralistic about killing NPCs that spontaneously resurrect themselves after a minute. Also, do you do pacifist runs through Fungal Grotto, sparing the poor goblins and orcs, and only slaying the wicked taskmasters who have enslaved them?

Exactly this. I'm bored already sitting in a Hiding Spot waiting for a painfully slow patrol to pass by. I did all this content when they released it, got fed up with all the bugs and inconsistencies, don't do it anymore. So to be forced back into it for event tickets (when the scheduled event should have been the PvP one, which they cancelled) is tedious.

I got a bad feeling that this "event" was purposefully selected to motivate people to buy tickets from vendor instead of doing those quests/sacraments. And I pity those who don't have this DLCs and that they need to do a lot of quests with unclear order of those to open heists/sacraments. So people will buy TG/DB expecting this is better deal then buy tickets.. and then they'll stuck in those quests which are very untypical for ESO and require a lot of fuss if you are not used to stealth and that stupid mechanics with lanterns.

Or, maybe this event exists to get people to play all of them game. Much like every other event in the game exists to provide players an outlet to experience content they may be missing or unaware of.

We had exactly the same event in March. If they can't provide proper event (Mayhem) they could select something trivial with easy access to tickets like crafting or WB. Though for me TG/DB is trivial too after March.. cloak, kill everybody who detects you, take quest objective, exit, logout. But for new players it will be a mess, I remember I spent at least 10 hours just to open this dailies.

And I still remember last year when there was two weeks of crafting writs for motifs - the horror was real. Please gods not again.

Oh noo such a heart ache boo hooo. It's your choice. Why don't you have a character that is a bad guy? If you care about good and bad in a video game where nothing is real, then you obviously care about rp'ing. So rp a character that is a thief and murderer.

I just do not understand this attitude, i see it every time it's the tg and db events, the same old complaints about not wanting to be a bad guy. It's not a sin to kill pixels on a screen for crying out loud.

It might be that the ‘nasty’ bandit you just killed was actually a decent guy who was just robbing to support his family......or fell in with the wrong crowd and now can't escape. Do you feel bad about killing him?

Or what about all the myriad wildlife I am sure you have gleefully slaughtered for nothing more than some scraps of hide & paltry gold? Those dire wolves were just trying to feed their pups......

Why don't you say that to op. It's not me who has an issue. 😛

Yes it's true, most of our characters are pretty damn blood thirsty. It is incredibly hard to play a truly honorable individual.

Which is kind of one of the reasons why op's complaint is a bit ridiculous.

The Dark Brotherhood sacraments are pretty darn evil. The Thieves Guild heists are not. You go to a bandit cave or something like that and steal from there. You are not stealing from innocent civilians. You are stealing from some shady people and no one needs to get hurt. If anyone catches you, there are many places to hide if you don't want to kill anybody. Plus, there is no need to complete heist within timer to get event ticket. The timer is just to get highest quality loot. You still get event ticket even if it takes you 20 minutes. In many ways, the Thieves Guild heists are some of the most moral quests in game.

I have a character who lost her mind after being (spoiler) murdered by Mannimarco. She ran off to join the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. Once I'm done those, she'll regain her conscience and decide to be (mostly) a hero. I think being murdered is a fairly good reason to go off the rails.

There's a lot of "Fear Of Missing Out" that goes into designing events.

I suggest either running the content or accepting that you will miss out as the price of not doing content you don't want to.

Fear is the mind-killer, after all, and the fear of missing out shouldnt rule us, no matter what you choose.

Working as intended. (I've missed a number of tickets from skipping on events that I didn't want to do. It happens. There's more tickets given out than are needed, unless you're trying for the "Must Get Everything!" OCD award.)

This, I don't do much BG as I suck in PvP and don't want to ruin it for others, did to level PvP on necro.
Cyrodil is another story as here every body who can soak up damage helps.

TG is decent enough, yes they are thieves who steal stuff like this one does but its an business and you don't want to hurt people.
DB is another level of insanity

Elam does not offer dailies. DB daily is offered by Speaker Terenus.

A friend of mine feels the same way, I tell them they are only NPC's that will Respawn but it is about committing the Act itself they are uncomfortable with.

I suggest doing as I did and creating a character specifically for doing Bad Things. I used my Dark Elf NightBlade Vampire to complete the TG/DB storylines while my Saint-Like Templar Healer main has still yet to do so...
