I'm just giving my necromancer/s 'normal' names for their race - something which looks lore friendly and doesn't reference them being a necromancer. The one I have in mind for a female high elf necro is inspired by a poisonous plant, but that's the nearest any of them comes to being profession specific, and it's more about her personality than her skills.

That's what I do with all my characters. Their name always looks like a normal, lore-friendly name (at first anyway, some are not technically lore friendly if you know all the details) and although it always means something to me which relates to the character it's never directly referencing their class, race, guild affiliation etc.

I named mine C'Thun N'Zoth which are 2 old gods names from wow, i usually use this site to pick a name it have a ton of fantasy names:

I wanted something death related, so either Pallor or Algor, and a race appropriate surname. Now I only have to decide the race. That has been the most difficult part for me

Don't have it yet. Was thinking Dunmer or Breton for the lore, but still unsure.

On one hand, I think I would like to play one toon of every faction. In reality, if I don't love the character it will probably be a wasted slot, a bank alt at best.

I put a lot of time and effort into the characters. Names, back story and writing about them as I play along, so it's important to me to get it right, otherwise is a lot of wasted time.

These are names I thought of in like 5 minutes. Plenty of options for elves as the Elven races have well-documented rules for their nomenclature. Argonians are of course really easy to put together. Naming your character honestly depends on how hard you want to RP.

It's a good list because you can read more about each. I like names that somehow fit the character. The names are also not obvious or too well known. Besides it's easier to find a name to match a race you like
