Magplar
Stamblade
Magknight
All of these use "stam" or "mag" and then tack on the last syllable of the class. THEREFORE, for Necromancer, the names must be:
Magcer and Stamcer.
The suffix “-er” is used at the end of almost any verb which involves the usage of an agent or a “doer” of some action. The necromancer does necrotic things in service of necromancy. Ergo, a simple "cer" should be defining enough of the class.
I rest my case. Use it.
As for the topic... Sure. I agree.

Exactly. Keeping it short and simple...
MagSorc and StamSorc
MagNecro and StamNecro
Magplar
Stamblade
Magknight

I think it's silly to "need" a PvE acquired weapon for a PvP build to function optimally. Without a Master's staff, Clench is pretty underwhelming, and really not viable as a spammable damage ability. But since you still need it for a CC, that means you give up another bar slot in order to use a different spammable.I don’t get why people consider magden weak. It has no cc it’s true but clench is a really powerful skill, spammable, cheap and it apply a lot of pressure. I’m having a blast with mine playing destro/resto, with master fire staff main bar the pressure you can apply is incredible and paired with the burst from scorch the only thing you’re lacking is a burst ultimate. Also with the upcoming change to RAT you also have a snare removal plus a useful buff to damage if you’re running light armor. As for magcro I think is quite similiar but you can burst with the smashing colossus ulti after a close quarter clench, even tho blastbone is harder to land compared to scorch.

'Course, those alternative spammables have issues of their own; the Cliff Racer takes too long to land, Elemental Weapon feels weird to weave (causes me to clip light attacks often), and Force Pulse is just overall underwhelming on any class that isn't using it to trigger Crystal Frag procs (and even then, Master Staves are once again superior to any PvP-obtained item). Once Elsweyr goes live and you no longer have to deal with reflect spam from DKs, the only real benefit of the Cliff Racer goes away, since the small amount of extra damage it'll do over other options just isn't worth its delay.
Better class-based CC could potentially help quite a bit. After all, how many Mag DKs do you see trying to replace Whip + Petrify with a Master Staff and Clench/Reach spam?
