✭✭✭✭you can use https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info655-Srendarr-AuraBuffDebuffTracker.html to see long term and short term buffs on someone you have targeted, like food and mundai choice, along with minor and major buffs like major prophecy and savagery or the major armor buffs, once you know what you are looking for, you can guess pretty much what someone is wearing.0 -

Still I thought it only listed buffs, proc and casts, not sets more like combat metrics.
And yes you could probably make an addon who made it easier to pull data from but if common used in pugs well you probably get an pushback ZoS style.
One major problems is obviously all the idiots who see only bis and trash or have weird opinions.
Archetype would be the fake healer who complain about people dying and now complains that you run VO as he give no resources
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.1 -

✭✭I want a biography system where you can give history about your character. I'm guessing they might not want people using gear inspection as a means of telling if a player has a certain gear set or not. But I would not mind having one in the case of a persons history biography which could be used for roleplaying purposes. Hopefully they would consider that.PC NA

It has been a long time but I am pretty sure I recall the devs saying specifically they did not want this in the game. Granted, they added something much more caustic, CP, as we see threads complaining about low CP players getting into someone's group.
Yeah, I remember them saying they didn't want an inspect feature in the game. As much as CP gets singled out, letting every idiot wandering around inspect anyone else would be a recipe for disaster. While it'd help situations where you're trying to figure out how to help another player clean up their build, there'd be plenty of idiots who blindly chase the meta screaming things like, "IA is a healer set!" or, "Alkosh is a tank set," or, "you're not running Siroria," and then vote to kick.
So, as much as CP can be a problem, letting people see your exact gear would be far worse, because you'd be inviting every idiot who doesn't understand the game to critique your build and throw a tantrum. As it is, get above some random CP threshold and they shut up.1 -

That would be an interesting use yes, but also consider how efficiently this stuff is getting recording. With how laggy Cyro is, it might make it worse. Then again, would the little bit of worse be that noticeable.
A live-response inspect feature would make it too easy to get all uppity about gear or skills (granted spotting fake roles at a glance would be nice). With the function it requiring manual recording, manual uploading, and searching for a particular player after the fact (especially if their anonymous and can’t be searched), it’d be too much hassle for someone to check every random run they have for non-meta gear. They could try, but most people would have already run ahead to the first pull by the time they got any useful info.0 -

Wtf it is your business how others play their game? What are you, 15? I thought this game has 18+ age rating. It is none of your business what other people do in their game they bought with their own money. Let people do what they want and stop being full of yourself.

And well, I know, that everyone is different: some people may seem invaded if someone watches their progress and it's totally fine, others (like me) like sharing what they achieved. And if someone called me "s**t" I will start working on becoming good! I will get my gear, I will do my dungeons, I will do my quests and achievements. Like it's not a problem, because the game is meant to be like that - you do content to become better, more knowledgeable of this game.
To prove my point I will make an example of myself. I am totally bad in this game, I've hit cp60 yestarday and it's my first cp character. "Well why it's bad?" you may ask. Well, because I have 460 hours in this game. I have left it 3 times, I haven't played every day, I didn't do content and was always asking myself "Why am I doing this? This game is boring". After another "break" 4 days ago I came back to this game and, coincidentally, I have been called out for being bad. I didn't report this guy, I didn't go cry in a corner, I just said "Yeah, I'm working on it" and started playing more seriously. Now I have cp 60 character, On the other guy I have maxxed Tailoring, Blacksmithing and Alchemy and so far, I'm proud of myself.
Don't expect everyone to be nice to you, work on you character, play casual, yet smart. Don't get angry or sad if someone called you out, work on it or just ignore, you are better than it.
Yes, I may bring negativity to this game, I swear and call people stupid for doing something incorrectly. I'm not doing this to make people think bad, I don't want to make them said and depressed over some game on the internet. I want to make them play, and not fool around.
Just yestarday I was in normal Wayrest Sewers for 60 minutes, because our damage dealers were lvl20 and 40. They kept standing in fire, they didn't activate daedric altars on the boss that kills you if you don't. I was angry at them and you know what? At the end of the dungeon the only one acting stupid was I, I was the one accidentaly agrroing (Is this a word lol?) the boss. standing in bad stuff and sometimes dying. Those two on the other hand played perfectly: they did damage, avoided getting hit, didn't agrro the boss.
I'm not saying to do everything what I do, or do it the same way that I do. I'm saying to change the game in a good way, I want you to make people play better and in the end feel good about their accomplishments, get gear, make bonds with people, play in the team, not cry for being called "dumb" by some random weirdo.
(By the way sorry for all the grammatical or spelling mistakes in this and my previous comments, If this bothers you English isn't my 1st language and I'm still learning it)
Just a small point. Declaring a play style is " horrible " is a bit over the top.
MMO is a game classification. It is Not a Demand.
Every reason that anyone plays is completely valid. Every play style anyone uses ( so long as its not cheating) is completely valid.
