    It may seem as a lot but:
    • rune prison is now a useless over expensive cc - extreme telegraphed+no damage+really short+delayed+expensive
    • pet - 90% of all players do not like pets: they need 2 bar slots and limit your build by a lot and this pet can not survive without the other one, in general pets are a real pain outside of 1v1s
    • streak is out of the mentioned cc the best but it has a cost stack on it so using it is kinda dangerous since it makes it really fast really expensive, really short cc(better next patch) and it repositions yourself what is not always wanted and with the delay on skills activation if you streak on uneven ground it is just a pain
    • no one is using this skill. this was the meme skill that killed of the cfrag cc and forced sorcs to run stupid similar builds
    • attro: it is a ulti so i really would not count it as and it is a ground targeted ulti so it is quite delayed/buggy in activation like all grd targeted skills

    In short all those CCs are not really that good and sorc prefer to use master staff to use the destro cc over all of them.
    Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus

    its a good question. how it can be that sorcs have 5 cc abilities but they dont use any of them? its an epic fail for devs as for me.

    It´s quite funny actually, sorc has so much potential cc in its kit, but most do not use it since it is not appealing enough, only full petsorcs use the familiar and storm atro stun, Crystal blast was used by overload gank builds but those are gone I think? Atleast I didnt see any anymore, rune Prison was very opressive with summerset but has since been nerfed and many sorcs do not use it anymore.

    What is rune prison even supposed to be at this point? It's the only on demand stun listed that you used to be able to set up kills with like other stuns in the game and they were so set on keeping certain aspects of it while nerfing it that at this point you need the planets to align to get a stun out of it. I need rune cage to stun a target instantly at a range. I understand that this means it probably should be dodge-able and blockable. I dont care. I dont need it to do damage when it ends. I dont need some super long stun duration. Just stun at range. Delete the ugly stepchild you have turned rune cage into and give us a ranged stun.

    Is this a "red herring" post to distract away from the completely overpowered Incap Strike change, Xylena? Turn the focus to MagSorcs and away from Stamblades?

    C'mon. You're better than that.

    Also: StamBlades and MagSorcs are constantly on top of the PVP food chain (as well as StamDens). How about we focus on buffing MagBlades, StamSorcs, MagDens, DKs, and Templars to bring them up to their level?
    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    As a sorc you have 1 stun and its attached to the destro staff. You're right that you dont need to nerf any of those abilities, but you also dont need to give other classes more stuns.

    ...but none of them is viable, only streak for defense (or stam sorc offense) till you are gap closed to death.

    Rune Prison - it was fun while it lasted (Summerset release), but nobody uses this now.

    Volatile Familiar - this one is mostly a PvE concern. The stun is delayed and occurrs only on last familiar tick. Furthemore, even most PvP zootards don't use familiars to not occupy additional slot.

    Bolt Escape - you are right, we can label this as valid CC. Not that good as other CC sources present in the game, but still usable.

    Crystal Blast - don't make us laugh. Seriously, does anybody uses this outside of low level, exping, new players that picked it just because Skill Advisor recommends it?

    Storm Attronach - is an ultimate. If you use Storm Attro for the AoE stun, I can tell you that in most cases, Negate is far more impactful.

    Any other "useful" sorcerer stun you can think of?

    Their argument was that they are "removing redundancy"

    We have a winner! The developers' efforts to "remove redundancy" have thus far been ham-fisted and completely arbitrary. But rather than nerfing Sorceror abilities, because as many others have pointed out, these abilities are already viewed as inferior to Destructive Reach, I would suggest as a start:

    1) Restore the major speed buff to Blur and Cripple on Nightblade
    2) Restore the unblockable stun to Luminous Shards on Templar
    3) Restore the stun to Deep Fissure on Warden and restore the original Arctic Blast
