SUNSPIRE RUNEBOX REQUEST (like clockwork curator/reliquary)

So the clockwork reliquary was a really cool and unique drop from Asylum HM. It did and still does give some extra incentive to do the trial, for the chance to get the awesome cosmetic if you don't have it yet, or the chance to make a couple million gold. It is a good example of RNG in the game (being both "free" and cosmetic) and I was a little disappointed that there was no analogous item in Cloudrest HM. It is also not gated behind content completion so even people incapable of doing the content can merely purchase it with gold if they want to (or with real money by turning crowns into gold I suppose). So because cosmetics are cool and a rare drop increases trial longevity, I would greatly appreciate it (and I'm sure many others would as well) if we got a rare runebox drop from completing vSS HM. Could be a pet, skin, mount, poly, whatever. Maybe even some kind of style item I don't really care. Thanks :D

    Bring back BoE trial drops!

Seriously, give raiders a bit of a bone here. Undaunted Plunder doesn't even start to make up for all the potions we end up using. We need more incentives to raid outside of cosmetics locked behind achievements.

Totally agree. And while we are at it, can we add the cool dance animation that the silver clockwork polymorph has to the gold one?

Make the gold trinkets sell for more. 10k is absolutely nothing. Also, please add a runebox to Cloudrest for a polymorph that makes you look like a death shade and style pages for the Asylum and vMA weapons. Otherwise, definitely agree with Lassi; cosmetic farmables are not only large ticket items but fun to chase after.
    unban my first account thanks

Oh yeah, the runebox is what makes it exciting to pick up loot every time in vAS. Please make it same in Sunspire

I agree 100%. It would be a refreshing change to trials to have another new and unique polymorph available for completing hard mode. How long has it been since Clockwork City released? Surprised ZOS hasn't kept up this route considering they could just reskin it later and put in the crown store after the fact like they did with the clockwork reliquary.

I also support this idea. @ZOS_Finn, @ZOS_GinaBruno, ZOS should look into giving players more reasons for doing trials. Even if that means ridiculous RNG odds like the clockwork reliquary.

BoE trial drops doesn't equal giving raiders a bit of a bone, it would give raiders millions of gold each run depending on the trial. If raiders do veteran runs, they get golden jewelry that they can deconstruct, undaunted plunder and the 10k golden item from hardmode for each run. You get plenty.

However, all this only works when you complete the (veteran)run. An evening of wiping won't be very lucrative.

Bah. The vAS polymorph is a showcase of everything wrong with RNG. I know people who have never gotten it after dozens of clears. And someone who got it on their first clear. People who have gotten two in the span of a week and people who have gotten zero after months of clears.

The chances of a drop is so low that I have a hard time believing that anyone runs vAS to farm for the polymorph. Granted, it's a nice reward if you happen to hit that jackpot, and the possibility of hitting that jackpot might be a mild sweetener for some, but does it actually motivate people in a substantial way? No. Well, okay, maybe for the type of person who flush money into lotteries...

If there is to be a reward, it should be free of this nonsense of randomness. Want something to be very rare with a drop rate of 1%? Fine, then break the damn thing into 100 fragments, and give each player 1 fragment per clear, and when someone collects or buys a stack of 100, it can be turned into that shiny something. Come to think of it, that's more or less how the new Cyrodiil cosmetics work. Good job PvP devs!

Or, on the PvE side, the Welkynar motif is a good example of a fair way to reward content (why is Militant Ordinator exempted from the carnage of the Anniversary Event motif wipefest and Welkynar is not?) Fun fact: according to my Raidificator logs, I've cleared vAS +2 more times than I've cleared vCR +3. Yet I've made more gold from Welkynar motifs (and this is after having consumed a full set for my own personal use) than I have from vAS polymorphs (I'll leave the reader to infer from the tone of this post how many of those polymorphs have dropped for me).

I see no reason why they can't do both, I can't imagine one cosmetic is a lot of work for them to create. It makes looting more fun knowing that there is a chance to get a super cool item. You're right you can make a lot more money off of motifs, I have and I've gotten a LOT of vAS runeboxes but the runeboxes are still a lot more fun to me. If someone that hasn't or can't get the runebox really wants it they can just buy it and if they ever get one in the future get all their money back.

That isn't really how the clockwork runebox works. You CAN get millions of gold but the likelihood is very small, some people have said 1/100? Also you only get the 10k gold item once a week, not once per run. It would certainly be nice if it was once per run xD.
