Yeah I had opportunity so far to obtain 2 mounts of choice and this rule took predecent. I would look on eso fashion to narrow down some choices of interest.

All mounts are functionally identical, the appearance is just a skin. So I think you should pick the one you like best. There's no point picking the rarest, or even one other people think looks cool if you don't like it. Do you really want to spend your time riding around on an ugly mount hoping someone else will be impressed you have it?

If I was making that choice it'd come down to the chilling senche-lizard, normal wolf-lizard, Psijic Spectral Steed, or Dapple Grey Palfrey. But that's because most mounts are ones I've either got or don't want. The Dapple Grey I missed buying when it was available and I won't buy crates, but I also don't like most of the crate mounts - those 3 and the normal psijic horse (which I got from a free crate) are the exceptions.

Presumably, dragonbone-armored mounts. Unless those are meant for Elsweyr crates (probably not, since they are not very Khajiit- themed)

My favorites, in order, are:

Shadow rider senche
Galvanic storm steed
Senche of Scarlet regret (I have this one. Really great looking but poor spawn animation and not so rare)
Plague husk horse
Psijic spectral steed
Dragonfire wolf
Cold flame atronach wolf
Vitrine Dwarven Wolf (have this as well)
Frost Dragur Senche

For what it is worth, I think the rarest, at least on PCNA, are:

Green Graht ghost cat (despite these being great selling crates I have only ever seen one)
Shadow Atronach senche (Again, popular crates but I have only seen one)
Hollow Jack radiants (Everybody hates them so nobody bought the crates and nobody who won one rides it)

Edit: OT as been mentioned elsewhere in this thread my favorite mount is the black senche panther, Kismet. Quiet mounts without a lot of particle effects are my favored.

I haven’t seen anyone using the Badger Bear, possibly because they weren’t tricked by severe myopia into believing it had a badger-y face as well as coloring. D’oh!

Also I’m very proud of my Karthwolf Charger and Gorne Striped Wolf, not rare per se but I don’t see many using it.

Personally I would ask for either the True Ghost Horse, Fang Lair Courser, Phantom Ice Wolf, Shadow Rider senche, or Shadow Atronach senche. I don’t recall ever seeming somone riding any of those.

well some senches look pretty nice, however there are so many different pets in the game already, that If you have a radiant apex one, and use it....you're prob the only person or you very very rarely meet someone running the same.

I personally have the Frost Drauger Senche, and have only seen 2 other ppls so far on PC eu that have it... prob more have it, but dont use it....so its still rare to see it.

For me Coolest=/= Rarest.
Rarest would be Plague Husk Horse, I've seen it just once.
Coolest - IMHO coolest ones are those which don't shine to much. I simple hate those anime like glows

That is an awesome prize. For me, all the bright translucent Psijic mounts are my favorite by far. I only have one sadly. My favorite mount types are big cats, so Id would personally choose the Psijic version.

If I could have only one mount other than the horses available for gold I'd choose the clouded senche-leopard.

But that's because clouded leopards are one of my favourite animals and it's very rare to see them in games at all, especially as mounts (or even pets). It also fits my main character, who I decided is from the Tenmar Forest (which is where the description says the mount comes from), so it was a must-have for me.

I have the loyalty senche - It’s a great mount because it looks good (enough) and it means something to me.

I’ve got and tried quite a few mounts over the years - even the white horse I got by buying the imperial edition of the game when it first launched - but I always go back to my senche.
