    tl;dr pls

Tl;dr people who can't animation cancel or weave attacks want a different options that would enable them to. Some have suggested that we make a option in the client settings for light attacks to go off with skill activation to reduce the number of imputs required to animation cancel. This would help people with motor control issues with figners and hands as well remove a step making it combat easier for people who struggle with animation canceling. Some have suggested to increase the GD by a 3rd of a second or so to make weaving and animation canceling easier in general. Other just want it gone others want it to stay the same.

While there are some who probably physically can't let's not act like they are the majority. Most of the people complaining would be perfectly able to if they were to invest some time to practice it. That wouldn't change with the your suggestion. People would still cry and they will always find an excuse of why they aren't at the top.

I am not saying ZoS shouldn't make the game easier accessible for people that have these problems, but you can't blame them if that is not their focus as it's just a small portion of the playerbase. Any game with somewhat fast paced combat is just not designed for people that can't be that fast.

So you want to get rid of interesting and mindful mechanics in the game? Gotcha.

Inserting a light attack into every gdc regardless of circumstances (because why not, its free damage and takes no time since the animation is cancelled) is the very definition of mindless.

I am not sure about other classes but I'm on a stamblade. Yes, you fire off a light atrack between skills but it's not as mindless as you put it. I have to watch the rotation and certain skills get hit when they are ready (ie relentless proc) and the timing of the ulitmate is important. So you have to think about what you're doing and react accordingly.

You have to watch relentless proc, that is mindful. You have to time ultimate, that is mindful. But inserting a light attack into every GCD? Heck, you could make a macro to do it for you, that's how mindless it is.

You could macro entire rotations even "dynamic" ones because they aren't dynamic and just patterns repeating itself in ESO. Let's just get rid of all of it and have on button that kills a boss instantly. Or when we approach a boss a game of chess could pop up so when we win it wouldn't feel "mindless".

If you have such a problem with something that is such a major part of the gameplay of ESO you should probably find a game where you find the gameplay fun and engaging and not mindless.

Not really. If you macro an entire rotation then you wont be able to react to what is happening around you while the macro runs, and you need to be able to do that, both in boss fights and in PvP.

On the other hand, macroing a light attack before every skill does not prevent you from reacting because there is no commitment to a long rotation - the light attacks is completely invisible(because it is cancelled) and takes neither resources nor time to perform, so you can/should do it everytime, regardless of circumstances. That is what makes it 'mindless'.

Wait, let me get this straight, people still think this game's competitive and requires 1337 sX|11z?!?!
