Most Cancer build for Icy Conjuror?

This set is absolutely ridiculous. This proc set is the worst we've seen yet... just wondering how people go to abuse it with the other proc sets in this game? On a Mag Warden I can hit Deep Fissure, run in and at the same exact time I reach my target for Deep Fissure to go off I can ele drain for the Icy Conjuror proc and 1 shot most people... But how can we make this set even more broken?

I was thinking putting it on a mag dk with Zaan helm and overwhelming surge set. Once I see my Zaan beam proc, I hit fossilize to stun the opponent, that ele drain for the Icy Conjuror. I don't know how any player cound possibly survive that even if they do instantly cc break.

But back to warden. In a perma frost, I spam my master destroy shock / Icy clench for constant snares and stuns, and this Icy Conjuror set will just rip people to shreds in a Northern Storm / Permafrost.

I want the devs to see how broken this is before people like I abuse it in game. Share here your thoughts.

Also I challenge the Developers to get on the PTS and duel some good players running this set!

It is looking so good, that I was thinking about using it on Stamplar. Ravager+Icy Conjurer 2H Backbar+Sellistrix+Master DW Axes Frontbar build idea.

Basically, start off with PoTL, Minor fracture triggering Conjurer, gap-close and Rending+Jabs will proc Ravager+Sellistrix stunning the enemy. The burst damage will be off the charts and the PotL proc will be the icing on the cake. Finish with Executioner, if still alive.

Have you people, like, tested it? It's super slow, even when you proc it in melee range it takes 2 seconds.

I was planning to stack it with Soul Assault, but if they now spread out the damage that will be obsolete. Good.

Yes and it's still good, especially if you stun / snare often and drain your opponents stamina pool. Fossilize / shock clench / Ice blockade

Looking at this set just makes me weep for the ice mage we'll never get qq
If magwardens cant get love in a DLC all about ice sets and frozen vaults, then when?
On a side note Necro is confirmed to have ice skills and probably has some fun debuffs so this may be part of their red carpet rolling out.

With all these proc sets in the game, i think its pretty safe to say that one day they'll release a set that straight up plays the game for you.. that's pretty much what things like earthgore is doing now, earthgore can save you if youre being attacked and youre in the inventory screen. Ridiculous. NO MORE PROC SETS THAT PLAY THE GAME FOR US PLEASE!!!!

I cannot believe they are planning on nerfing Icy Conj. The OP made up some hypothetical nonsense not based on reality. I've played an Ice Mage in PvP pretty much constantly. No matter how you set it up: Necro, MS, Winterborn, Ysgr, Julianos, does not matter, you are not going to get very much DPS at all. Pretty much all of the Frost damage skills are DOTs.

You basically play Ice Mages for the "support" aspect in PvP. Lots of immobilizes, polar wind stuns, slows, minor maims, chills, etc. With the current meta of pretty much everyone being unkillable, Ice Mages don't even dent or scratch.

You'll be lucky to get 20k-ish DPS on a dummy. With Battle Spirit, you are noodle slapping 10K-ish damage in Cyrodiil.

So you are hurting nobody in PvP in an Ice Mage, you are pretty much restricted to standing them up so somebody else can knock them down.

In compensation for slapping noodles, it is fun. Nothing like lining it all up on Aless Bridge in Mad Tink and Ice Conj. Winterborn + Icy Conj is ok. But guaranteed, no set combo with Icy Conj is OP. They already NERFED Icy Conj once by spacing out the damage DOT from 4 secs to 8 secs and for God's sake it has a HUGE cooldown already at 12 secs. It is SLOW and easily dodged. And if you are a magden or whatever, you are not at melee distance most of the time so you can see Icy Conj coming slowly in your direction from a long way off. Nerfing it again will make the set useless and it is really NOT all that effective now as it is.

Clearly the OP hasn't even played with Icy Conj. Why are the devs even looking at Icy Conj, it is not even close to being an OP set. This is why we can't have nice things. Why are people calling for nerfs on a set that a) they haven't even played and b) is NOT even close to being a Top 10 OP set based on actual combat numbers.

If Icy Conj is so OP that it needs to be nerfed again, then fine, lets nerf MS, 7th, Ravager, Fury and Deadly and ...

Cannot believe we got criers wailing away over Icy Conj ...

What are you talking about? You are making up fantasy situations. How is Icy Conj going to rip people to shreads in a NS/PF? It has a 12 sec cool down. NS/Perm has a 250 Ulti requirement. Yea, you MIGHT use this combo ever 10 mins or so in Cyrodiil to take out 1 person. Maybe.

It is not even worth debating. Anyone WHO HAS ACTUALLY run Icy Conj in PvP knows it is totally meh, but welcome because an Ice Mage has absolute crap for damage/DPS. With Icy Conj every so often you can do a bit of damage, but with a 12 sec cooldown you are not tearing anyone to shreds.

You put on Icy Conj and post a bunch of clips where you are tearing people to shreds in 1v1s and I'll lead the charge to get it nerfed. Nerf crying about a 8 sec DOT with a 12 sec cooldown that you haven't even tried. ESO forums ... sigh

Not sure I understand... I don't think I've ever seen this set used even once. I saw it featured in a video the other day and had no idea it even existed

What happened before? Sets getting nerfed on PTS? I'm confused.
It was OP, now it's not, and being a proc set from a DLC dungeon that requires specific builds to work, a lot of players either don't want to use it or can't get it in the first place.

Bad set. Combyne with undaunted health drain skill spam icy to even invicible targets, but you can easely roll dodge its attack - so i think it is trash in pvp.

that seems really impractical. the set is fine. get in someone's face with eledrain. it works nice as a backbar set.

Elemental drain costs 0, is insta-cast, has a long range in Cyro, and provides a very good debuff. This set gives you 2365 per-second tooltip damage for free - literally. There's a place for it in a ranged DoT setup (hello Skoria).

What I'd like to know is:

1. Does ele drain pull you out of stealth?
2. Will this set pull you out of stealth?
3. Will this set pull someone else out of stealth?

Has anyone actually used the set in that scenario?

This is an old thread.
The set was nerfed and no one uses it now.

*Skoria is also getting nerfed this upcoming patch- or rather being brought in line with the other sets.
