can we change skills while in combat again?.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler Seriously. you get stuck in combat for 10 minutes straight and the conditions of the fight change. you may have a 1v1/open world set up one second then you need to defend a keep and you're stuck in a 1v1 build, can't slot siege, can't slot AOE/snares. it's rather infuriating.

Making myself lose some interest in PvP, not enough slots for this to be happening... Just not worth it.

hope we can mount, Change quick Slot and travel via transitus while being in combar + Change skills in Combat, sometimes you are stuck with rapids on your bar forever just cause you wanted to ride a bit fast over this huge map^^

ZOS would need to find a way to keep people from using add-ons (dressing room) to change bar setups while in active combat. Otherwise there will be people who effectively have 5 skill-bars and multiple equipment setups while you are fighting them in a duel or battleground or whatever. (lag not withstanding)

Other than this issue I completely agree withe the OP.

just put the changes back on how they used to work before last patch

Well atleast quickslot and transitus working while in combat is being worked on.

Really? Do you mean being able to change what is in your quick slot? Pretty sure I haven't been able to do that lately.

And, yeah, also agree with OP, as long as they can prevent add-ons from cheesing it on PC. Not an issue on console.

no, that's how it used to work till last update. more just a rollback to when things worked.

They should allow players to mount in combat, change skills in combat, change gear in combat and change quick slots in combat.

In order to avoid abuse they could use a conditional timer.

For instance has the character taken or dealt damage in the last [15] seconds?
Yes. mount/skills/slots/etc can not be change.
no. moutning/skills/slots/etc can be change even if "still in combat"

It would be extremely inefficient, and fail as often as it worked. However, a simple way to help prevent this from happening would be to put a one to two second cool down on all skills after you swap out a skill. This would have no noticeable game impact on any other part of the game, and would still solve the issue most people have with skills in combat, getting Rapids off your bar.
