Here is the fact. Elsweyr will bring changes both balance and a lot of new sets.
This might well shift the balance 300 dps on an 60k parse who is enough to upset the balance.

They might even drop an slightly OP Ohmes-Raht race on us for the giggles and $.
Yes it will get an small nerf in following next dungeon dlc bringing them down to average.
Some got 200 more dps on an 60K parse for 3 months.
We other got an new cool race who works well.

    Everybody wins :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I don't care. After the Nerfmire fiasco, it's clear neither does ZOS. it's either adapt or leave.

It needs to be a race and name change token. If I decide to change my Redguard to a Khajiit the name will not work for a kitty. Or if I decide to change my Argonian to a Breton, same, oh my will the name so NOT work.

Not that the changes are that serious and I personally won't even use 1 race change. But I support the right for others to have a choice

I agree, it's good option, because, everyone who choosed some race invested into a lot time. (Well not 100% but still, think of it, if you choosed some race in 90% it was because some benefits or some)

ZOS "should" give us 1 race change token per character.
such a simple and easy PR move that would instill some goodwill in the playerbase after the EU server maintenance disaster, dungeon finder event broken, OC players dealing akami, PVP event queues broken.

ZOS ignores our pleas. We are just a wallet to them.
Insulting people on the internet is cowardly.

I'd like a name change token included with that free race change token.

See, whether I chose that character for the role play or the stats, I gave them a lore appropriate name for their race.

This right here. It actually matters to some of us and at the ridiculous price of 2k crowns a pop (which is highway robbery for the "privilege" of retyping a few letters) they really need to be a little "generous" with their players for once.

Free race change token is not generous.

    Free house was not generous.

    Free monthly rewards,
    Free event mounts,
    Free crates,
    Free CHAPTERS a year later-

But they need to be "more generous".

Look, y'all can believe ZOS owes you something and I won't say anything, but can we stop with the "Not generous" line? Please? It just insta-kills any argument you make to me.

I agree with them to a certain extent. None of those things had anything to do with a balance change like this topic does. They were just PR stunts wrapped inside of game events and dailies to encourage people to log on more often, which increases the chance they might use the crown shop. They're, basically, trying to make their product more attractive to the masses, as any other business does. We actually logged on and participated to get those items. They're here to make money from each and every one of us, and they do make a lot of money from us, but it should be done more in the background within the shop itself imho.

Do they owe us anything? No. However, just as any other business does, they must figure out what the customers are willing and unwilling to pay, which can be tricky in an mmo. This is exactly why we have a forum. So ZOS can see the differences of opinions on the topics. Then decide which solution fits best for each individual topic when possible. They don't need defenders. They need honest opinions from everyone whether they agree or not, and some sensible suggestions.

Exactly this. An example is the free house. Yes, it's lovely. It's appreciated. It's HUGE. It also came without a single stick of furniture, not a rock or a tree. Unlike all other homes that, even if you buy them "unfurnished" have a couple items in them, especially if they have any outdoor space. But not this one. You know what they DID do when they gave us the house? They put out a bunch of Summerset furniture packs on the store. Coincidence? I think not. That's not generosity folks. It's a sales ploy. Now, I didn't care. I appreciate the house. It's neat. I'm doing some fun creative stuff with mine and spent some crowns and a lot of gold to do it, exactly as ZOS intended. But I'm doing it with my eyes open.

1 race change token per account makes it fair for everyone regardless of how many characters you have. Everybody gets 3000 crowns worth of complimentary services, rather than Account A getting 3000 crowns worth and Account B getting 45,000 crowns worth.

    This.

I think Zos would have expected this poll to have this response so it serves for entertainment value only. Zos' made the decision of only one change per account though I expect they already decided to place the change tokens on sale at launch of this update or soon afterwards.

So remember, if they are not on sale day one it is likely to come not long after.

I do not think OP saw that coming. Heck, I would have expected people to say they want Zos to give them move.

But at the time I post this the poll is showing 64% say Zos should give us nothing or that one race change are getting is sufficient. Just totally disagreeing with OP.

You should perhaps look again. The votes are overwhelmingly in favor of ZOS doing more than the nothing they are so far!

I vote for "don't break thinhs that work just fine and have been working fine for years".

While most race changes are adjustments to the same philosophy and won't matter all that much, they really are doing a number on Bosmers by removing stealth bonus entirely. Seems only logical that Bosmers would be as adept at hiding as Nords or Orcs, right ? Yeah, not.

All that for a "stealth detection bonus" that has no use whatsoever in PvE.

I don't want to be able to change to Khajiit for free. I want not to need to change.

None of the races gets totally trashed or changed at all

Bosmers, mate. They lose ALL stealth bonus, and get a stealth detection bonus that has no use whatsoever in PvE and only marginal use in PvP. This will break some characters that have been made around the stealth ability and finely tuned for years. Also, it's absolutely against the lore.

You are right. I did misread that first option. Not that it makes a difference. Zos would expect this poll to have that response so it will not change their mind.
