    I have two buttons on the side of my mouse and I use them for dodge rolling and bar swapping.

    Bar swap, dodge roll, synergies, break free via mouse, skills via keyboard. Probably not BiS but not only am I not gonna spend the money to get a mouse with 20 buttons on it but I really can’t imagine using all my skills with my thumb. Sounds like a good way to wear out your ligaments. I’ve never noticed a performance decrease because of playing like this.

    I have been playing ESO for five years with a keyboard and regular mouse. I got a new mouse with buttons on the side recently and I started using it but I find myself mindlessly going back to keyboard because I am so accustomed to it.

    On PC but use a Razer xbox controller, cannot comprehend using kb/mouse, seems weird. Controller allows me to sit back from my PC and is better for my small hands.

    I've been using this layout since Beta. Never hit the wrong button.

    The keyboard is basic movement and typing.

    Very similar setup to you except 8, 12, 13 and 14 are W, A, S, and D. I've set up the thumb controller 'left' (towards me) as the bar swap, right (away from me) as bash. The button above the thumb controller is set to use synergy/interact. Middle mouse button (back and forward) are both set as dodge roll. The thumb spacebar is still set to jump. I couldn't go back to using my keyboard, or I'd find it very difficult. Once I'd altered the sizing, lift and tilt on the Orbweaver, the comfort is perfect.

    I also have a Razer with max thumb buttons, but I still use both. I really prefer to use the keyboard for spam skills and have the stuff I use less often on the mouse. It's more ergonomically friendly to use a keyboard.

    If i would mash those thumb buttons on the side non-stop i'd get severe repetitive strain injuries and pain in right hand and arm&wrist. Than i wouldn't be able to play PC games at all :/

    Mouse moves when I use the side buttons so impairs accuracy. I use MMB for bar swap and 1 thumb button for break-free. Pushing down doesn't affect mouse position and it doesn't matter about break-free buttons as you can't move anyway.

    I like to have a loose grip because I get cramp with my massive paddle hands. Had to go in store to find the biggest mouse available. (old Corsair M95 FYI if ppl have same problem).

    G13 for movement and skills. I assign the skills in a manner that works well with the movement I typically am doing at the time, so I can use the skill and move at the same time. For example, I will tend to circle to the left when using certain skills, circle to the right when using others. Since I am always moving during combat, the movement is part of the whole package.

    A G502 mouse is for heavy and light attacks, weapon swap, and blocking. I have left and right on the wheel, but do not use it during combat because it interferes with the light and heavy attacks.

    Tried Naga Hex 7 thumb button mouse some time ago and failed. Kept hitting wrong buttons in the heat of combat (7 is too many for my thumb to manage). Right thumb got sore.

    Went to simpler Razor with 2 thumb buttons and that works well.

    Yes, I do have a tiny conflict between move/skills but minimize it by using left thumb for foreward/aft move (space/B). Left & right move on S/D. Skills on QWERT. So I carefully choose which skills require my movement fingers (W,E) and place less used or passive buff ones there.

    Mouse roller for jump, ultimate, weapon stow. Mouse two thumb buttons for synergy, bar swap.

    Cast skills with keyboard but bar swap with mouse. I use a Razer Lancehead mouse and a Razer Ornata Keyboard.

    Not sure what "somehow manage" is supposed to mean. I have heard quite a few times now that people seem to struggle with using 12345 for skills because they can't move then. But lets be real here, you have three fingers on WASD but can only ever use two at a time so there is always at least one open for using skills. ;)

    Like OP, I turned to Razer for this game.

    Unlike OP, I use their Xbox 360 gamepad, the Razer Sabertooth.

    This baby has six re-mappable buttons and on-board programming. No Synapse required. It was designed to work on the Xbox 360 console.

    I've set my bindings up in such a manner that I never have to take my thumb of the stick during combat except for potions.

    Not perfect, but for gamepad play, not far from it either.

    EDIT: After writing this, I realise that I can make an improvement, and assign one of the shoulder buttons to the potion button.

    I take back what I said. I don't have to take my thumb off the sticks at all during combat now!

    I can do all my skills with my thumb and everything else with fingers and never have to move my hand.

    I tried using more buttons on the side of the mouse but I have big clumsy fingers and either hit two buttons or hit the wrong one. Mouse would need to be a lot bigger for me to use the side buttons comfortably even if I could hit the one I wanted to hit.

    Mouse for 1-5 and many other addon keybinds keybinds, R for ult (because MOBAs), V for weapon swap, Q still quickslot spots

    Using both for different things makes it easier to streamline actions, plus it’s easy to lose track of your buttons on the Razer Naga if you try to use the back rows during combat

    Hotbar skills with the keyboard, attacks with the left mouse button, block with the right mouse button, mouse wheel for interaction and the side buttons for synergy and weapon swap. Movement and other sundries with the keyboard.

    The mouse is a Logitech MX518, and the keyboard is a Corsair.

    I don't even use a mouse, I just use the control pad on my laptop.

    Yeah, it's possible...

    I don't really like using a keyboard in this game, due to the fact that (unlike other games) you have to move the camera, as well as your char, all the time; but, I just about cope.

    I haven't really committed to doing anything too complicated - largely due to my ongoing reservations about the game's fundamental, totally inflexible, movement design.

    So, ironically, I don't really feel like spending extra cash on ways to make it easier.

    Re. other comments: when you think about it, it's funny that mice, controllers and keyboards don't come in different sizes, for different hand sizes.

    More and more often, they just assume we're fine with one size.

    Saves them money, I guess...

    Custom Operating system with windows port.

    2 mice and foot pedals.

    Half the alphabet on one mouse the other half on the other. Numbers and shift/ctrl/alt on foot pedals.

    Bottom of both mice sanded down to fit on concave mouse surface.

    Use golf glove on both hands to prevent blistering/slipping.

    I don't have a skillful bone in my body
    Moving my fingers drops my blood oxygen level down and causes some nasty cramping in the arms, hand, and shoulder, so I play completely reactively and suck at PvE DPS. Last I checked I only did max 39K DPS (on a real boss solo not a dummy) and that was probably on my best day...otherwise its only 25-30K DPS :(

    In PvP I usually just watch other players and look for opening. Otherwise I push it and have my hands cramp like hell for a while. If anyone sees me in PvP and you die fast, all you have to do is endure for around 2 minutes and I'll slow down tremendously. You should be able to destroy me since my body won't keep up with my reaction speed anymore :D If you see me healing a ball group and I'm a pain at a breech, after 10 minutes or a long battle I always have to vanish to go do some breathing exercises or my performance will lower drastically.

    Oh no, my weakness is exposed!
