Zone Guide (No Mage's Books on Console!?)

Oh, come on! Obviously console players want to be able to use Zone Guide for Mage's Books. Why exclude this? It would make leveling Mage's Guild far less annoying on console.

absolutely agree.

If it's not in the zone guide, all you're doing is forcing someone to load up an app or web page and do it the hard way. At this point in the game's life span why make it grueling? We already have psijic to beat our heads against . . . PC players already have add-ons for books AND skyshards - just put both of those on the map.

There really does need to be something that can be unlocked and toggled on at least after your first character to make finding the same lore books and skyshards easier on new characters because all of the PC players are using mods that do this for them.

What an oversight... Why introduce something mods have been doing for years at worse efficiency.

It would of been nice to clear up a mod of my list and for consoles to have the same ease of access we do.

I remember playing on ps4 with my laptop open and switching between screens to level mages Guild. What about that experience sounds enjoyable to anyone.. took me straight out of the game making it twice as long to accomplish as PC.

As a PC player, things absolutely need to be made for consoles that are making life easier. They really should not have to pull something up on their phones to find skyshards and lorebooks. Like other people have said, ESO has been out long enough that continuing to hide those things makes no sense, especially in original zones.

Agreed, the process of finding mage's guild books is such a pain on xbox. PC has had this since near launch. If you don't want new players to have it on their first toon just unlock it at level 50.

I have gotten every skyshards on my main and most of the lore books.

I understand the need to have things be earned but this is a QoL fix for so many vets that would be nice to have.

Plus as others have said, people just look them up anyways. Have it be a toggle option if you are that concerned with it.

They need to be on the map! Having to use external resource to look them up without addons is highly annoying. Game's been out for years now and I've already hunted them down on multiple characters. One would think that in a QoL feature such as this, they would've been added. Make snowing them on the map a toggle and everybody will be happy. I'll even be happy if we can only see the locations of books we're previously collected (on another character) after we reach level 50.

What lame excuse does ZOS have for this, I wonder? (like they made excuses for supposedly not being able to allow the twitch drops on consoles)
