I’ve gotten around 16 writs total since the event started, doing at least 2 characters a day through all 9 quests. I gave an extra to my favorite guild bank for someone to have, then I list the others in guild store. I only asked for 10k each, even though I see people in zone chat asking for 70K each lol.

‘‘Tis the season to be kind though. I would rather help someone out than gouge people that still need to get the skin. 😊

I'm on Xbox NA, have 10 surplus, will be selling them for 20K each later tonight.

I make a bit of coin, and others hopefully get some writs at decent prices. Probably all be bought by flipper parasites though sadly.

And a very nice person gifted me the towel this morning, so much appreciated - so yeah. I'll get my other two tickets, and that's it! Thank you so much, you know who you are (and I don't have your @name.... I just sent the thank you to the character name).

3 characters on EU and 5 on NA each doing all 9 quests every day. I have 9 writs on EU, 8 on NA, and piles upon piles of knives, swords, oil buns, and mud balls. This is all I've been doing in the game since the event started.

How did people have the skin within 24 hours?

Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats.

Friends who trade... exorbitant amount of gold saved up to buy. I highly doubt anybody grinded that in 24 hours. Even with 15 characters and 9 quests each you would be wrestling with RNG long and hard to get 12. You would have to have RNGesus on your side...

RNG is awful on them :/ Your luck is better than mine. I have 9 character, but only 6 I can be bothered to do a day... and since the event started I only got 2 naturally....

I've been doing the New Life dailies since the first day of the event. Got 3 writs so far. The skin looks cool, but the fact that so many people have it kinda devalues it enough for me that I won't spend gold to get it. I prefer looking different than everybody else lol. I'm just doing the 1st daily for the gold box from now on, then I'm done. Good luck, everybody else.

Another week or so just doing one quest daily (with my Master Craftsman - as if that helps) and not a single further writ has dropped. I suppose that this is a good thing as the morph that you 'earn' with them looks rubbish!
I wouldn't pay money for writs for it.

Yep, pretty horrible drop rate for a limited time once a year event. multiple days of up to six characters each doing 9 quests a day and only getting one or two writ(s) every other day is somewhat a bit over the top.

I can appreciate making it kind of challenging to complete but when one run of 9 quests takes almost an hour and you get nothing for your trouble but boredom and sick of playing ESO entirely, I would have to say this was a bad move on the developers part.

For people attempting to get the achievement on multiple characters with the limited time frame to achieve the objective and the great amount of time expected to acquire 12 writs per character common sense would seem to dictate that in addition to having an extremely low RNG drop rate there should have also been an additional backup counter that would drop a writ every ten or twelve completed quests to reward people for what instead turns out to be an incredible waste of their time.

This would have guarantied people who play all nine quests each day would have received at least one writ on most days.

Instead I for one am pretty sick and tired of ESO and will probably not be playing it much for quite awhile after this fiasco.
