    1 Character No writs. Gonna try my luck on my only alt. Hoping the drop rate is a little more reasonable as time progresses.

    It does not. Both my fully maxed in everything crafters got no writs. So far I've gotten none on 3 characters.

    5 writs total 1 on my main 3 on my alt healer . 2 on my mag sorcerer .

    Did all events on one character and received a writ on the last turned in.

    I've done all 9 quests on 10 characters (6 of whom were created after last year's New Life and thus received an extra box); received 8 writs.

    so 96 boxes: 8 writs

    Edit: I thought crafting expertise might have something to do with it since the first 3 characters got 2 apiece and they've all researched almost all traits, have a fair bit of motif knowledge, and fair amount of recipes. But then my very last character, who was created during Undaunted Event, has 0 traits researched, only the 9 basic racial motifs, and pretty much only the recipes from the provisioning writ certification, earned a writ. So...RNG is RNG. Nothing new there, lol

    Did every quest on 4 characters and ended up with 4 writs :) I'm getting awful load screens at wayshrines when porting to quest locations, its what made me stop at 4 characters, I just can't stand it :/ Gonna take this grind slow.

    I've been selling them for 50 to 60k.. yall are thirsty for that ugly ice skin.

    EDIT: I just thought of something, ima hold onto them all til the last few days and mark up the price to 100 or 120k

    Just finished 2 more characters. After 3 characters, I have 5 writs.

    I opened 60 boxes and received 5. The drop rates are pretty terrible. I guy in zone chat said he did 7 characters and only received 2 Writs.

    The "forced" rng that ZOS uses is a pain.

    The charitanle writs drop rate is disappointingly low. Seriously not cool to tie a highly sought after skin to a RNG drop rate, tied to a quest reward of which you can only do a limited amount each day. Besides the grind factor tied to luck is the fact that the community is quick to exploit said fact. Holiday cheer is fast turning to holiday frustration. I can see why some players just say screw it an oay between 300K - 700K a writ. Its a joke! Please tweak that RNJesus Gina. ;)
