All dailies done on three chars, 3 writs = 11%. I wonder if the writs will become more expensive towards the end of the festival or the opposite.

So I ran through 9ish characters last night, 9ish because the "day" reset at some point in the middle of one of the characters I was running, so it was a bit more. I have 8 writs. Some characters got zero. A few got 1. And one lucky character got 3. I'm going to keep running the quests until I have my 12 writs and then probably stop. I was thinking about trying to get a couple extra sets of writs for giveaways. But, I don't think I have it in me. Due to the overwhelming number I ran in one day yesterday, I'm already bored of the quests. But I'll have a bunch of other rune boxes and some recipes etc to give to people that need them. So if you are on PC/NA and you need anything from this event, let me know!

I've done 22 quests so far across two characters and I've gotten five writs.
Two for rough cups, two for stools, and one for a common candle set.

Now I have 4 writs out of 81 total boxes. I'm going to be sick to death of these quests by tomorrow.

I have been playing since PC Beta and I thought I had learned every green furnishing plan apart from the Murkmire plans but I received this same writ which I could not complete because I did not know it. I visited 60+ traders and none of them had it for sale. I deleted the writ and I will hope I receive other ones as the Stool, Carved writ is an unfunny joke.

I hate to tell you this but maybe it will help the next time...all the writ recipes for these can be purchased from NPC crafters. So the stool recipe can be purchased from a carpenter NPC (anywhere near a woodworking station).

Right, I feel like this one is new. Before you would just buy the stool itself from the furniture vendor. None of the craft vendors ever had green blueprints before I think.

Also like that the wood ones are 1 item instead of 12.

Has anyone noticed if the writ drop rate is associated with the crafting proficiencies of the characters?

I ran a bunch on an alt with low proficiencies and one with the highest. There more proficient crafter got the writ.

Have done 4 more characters today (36 boxes) and got my last 4 needed writs. So now I can just do one quest a day and chill. Relaxation time! :collapse:

3 writs so far from 2 rounds of quests on my main. I’ll hopefully get to do them on more alts over the weekend but don’t think the drop rate is too terrible, also find the drop rates improve the longer these events go on.

24 boxes -> 2 writs

Only got them on my crafter that has the most crafting achievements completed.

Not sure if that makes any difference on the writ drop rate, but it was correlated for my experience.

After my second full day of playing, my totals are now:
6 writs out of a total of 108 event boxes.

I'm going out of town after Christmas, so I won't be able to play then, and want to get the ice skin before my time runs out. I should be able to do it easily unless my computer explodes, or there's a zombie apocalypse or something.

Ok so far it is 8 charity writs out of 88 boxes for me. That's not too bad, but its very tedious doing the quests on lots of characters. But with patience, I'll hopefully have the rest by tomorrow night
