✭Really @ZOS, the Indrik is awesome and all, I'm very glad I got it, but WHY the bark?
There is a very annoying sound, like a dog bark and it repeats x3 times, every time you sprint! C'mon!
It's truly pestering after a while, I hope it's just an oversight. Incredibly annoying.

It's interesting. We have TONS of deer here (southwest Utah), and yes, they do "bark" on occasion. Mostly, it's during the rut, or in the early summer when mom's away from her fawn.
And the fawns "cry" if there's a problem. I woke up a few years back, around 2am late summer. I could hear a fawn shrieking, and scrabbling baby hooves. Poke husband awake, make him put his hearing aids in, yeah, he can hear it too. So he puts on robe and slippers, and grabs a high-powered flashlight, and goes hiking around the neighborhood.
The fawn had got itself stuck through the railings on a neighbor's deck (one of the "absentees" who only show up for a weekend or so - and weren't there at that time), way up in the air (like not as high off the ground as ours - which is 14 feet up.... but probably 8 feet up). It was panicked of course, and planted a baby foot into his chest, but husband got it untangled and sent it off the back of the deck which is level with the hill.
And then I had to look husband over VERY carefully to make sure he didn't bring home any deer ticks.... Starting with a hot shower, and then ending with bug spray....
You don't really want to touch deer, y'know.7 -

No it's the Индрик, a Russian fantasy creature named "Indrik" exactly, that ZOS adopted and has nothing to do with dog barking.
It's actually a mixed beast with horse features, deer legs, and horn like a unicorn! And from the Unicorn word comes in fact the name!
Nothing to do with dogs.

✭✭✭Pretty awful. Got a snow sabre cat recently and belatedly realised the standard leopard is my perfect mount. It's so quiet and efficient. I like the way the footsteps sound, whereas the snow cat adds a jingle from the gear. You can never judge a character by the voice samples in the character creator either. What did I collect those feathers for? Really happy with the new Priestess of Mara dress, and it was free.
