-Personally I'd really like the game, it's beautiful, fun combat and overall a great setting to infest a lot of time in.
ESO has great potential to become really Good and maybe the best out of all MMO games out there. But you don't get that from the developers. They try but it's always 50% or completely something we don't want.

Of course some people will disagree with this, they find ESO alot of fun, easy and relaxing gameplay etc. But I was on that stage too.. Running around zone, doing quests, getting mastercrafter achievement etc etc. But that will stop.. You'll eventually finish it. and then what? If the game has no challenging end game with a lot of content to do.. Then you are better off playing a single-player game.. ESO is by all means still an MMO and I want this game last a couple of years longer!

Please watch the video, and give it some thought before responding!
I know the developers are putting time and effort with the Class Representatives about ''surface issues'' But some problems won't go away when the core of the game isn't addressed.

okay. i get it.

But i don't think the video maker is right about things like medium armor being not very good compared to heavy. Especially with recent murkmire buffs.

I'm sure you'd get a serious discussion about a written submission, but I for one don't frequent discussion forums in order to watch a video, let alone to enhance someone's click-rate on Youtube.

Actually due to high levels of ping, lag, and disconnects , ESO is a now dying game and is already losing 20% of it's player base, based on their decision in October to what they did to the servers that is dedicating specific IP and zones as opposed to funneling IP's outside the U.S. (eg Austrailia, Hawaii, Africa) to transit lines that are always clogged with congestion.

ESO has potential but lack of attention in resolving lags, bugs and Combat Balance is killing this game!

Combat Balance = Community whining and the perpetual cycle of players trying to find a way to optimize in both pvp and pve. Lag and bugs I agree but with combat balance players share a big blame. Players just like to kill their own fun on this game.

I completely agree with most of these posts, Instead of nerfing characters so people have to create others, realize that most people like a class and want to stick with it. The answer to the game isn’t nerfing classes, but making content that’s more challenging each time, so people that finish end game content have something else to do. Almost all of my friends that finished vet cloudrest are now gone and onto other games. Some may come back, but most won’t. I honestly don’t play as much as I used to anymore. What for? There’s not that many guilds in Xbox left that do end game content. I don’t see the point of having to grind forever. And I don’t like being forced to play other characters because Magicka characters aren’t that useful anymore.

• Pvp unplayable - who cares?
• trials bugged for ages- who cares?
• game breaking bugs in for ages - who cares
• rudimentary features missing in the base game without addons - who cares
• class balance russian roulette every big patch- who cares?
• class skills bugged for ages - who cares
• ...
• crown store bugged one day - EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN of the server on the same day

Still no vertical progression? End game will always be screwed without it and ESO is no different.

Heavy is still better in general. Medium is kind of a niche choice for dds in PvP, if you want an extra challenge in exchange for a bit burstier damage and a little more mobility.

Agree on almost all points in the video, but you wouldn’t be the first to make such a list and probably won’t be the last. So far nothing has changed. So now ZOS has announced that they’re toning down combat changes in order to work on the long term goal. And they’ve enveloped the community reps into their inner circle to supposedly make more informed changes. So we will see what update 21 brings. Personally it seems like it would be pretty easy to change a few key things right now to improve Cyrodiil. If they show an improved thought process with update 21 I might consider resubbing, but for now I’m going to the maintain the “changes first, money second” instead of the other way around as I’ve been doing for years.

Hmm... Many valid points in the video.

Would very much like to see a all dev trial run with sorc tank, templar off tank and healers as a nightblade and a dragon knight, with loads of melee based toons. Let's see if "play the way you want" is truly viable.

Edit : should note that this comment made it onto my Google feed... Thighy... So lots of traffic to this. Clearly many are interested in what is said... Perhaps just those who (like me previously) cant be bothered to make a forum account

The game is losing alot of population since summerset, Xbox EU is basically dead and other servers arent far off
Maybe if the game dies out we will get another project from Zenimax which they wont mess up

That video, despite being published by a drama queen/banned member, it has a lot of truth and good points that a competent developer team should have taken in consideration a couple years ago. Are you seriously claiming that it should not be posted only because the person who published it on YouTube has been banned on the forums?

It's good to see people finally started to ask questions directly to mods and community managers, not just "ZOS, are you serious?". But, unfortunately, ZOS censorship doesn't allow to discuss moderator's actions, so we, players, don't have any rights or voices here. Technically.
As long most part of community buy crowns and pay every month for ESO+ nothing will change. I give you any amount of %% guarantee.

I experience ESO dying by guild sales dropping each day. Murkmire was (except of the great zone itself) a perfect combat patch disaster and people saw this coming on PTS. Why did the devs deliberately released this mess despite ca. 80% of PTS testers begging not to release it before Christmas? Now telling people not to post this honest video here is just more proof of denial of reality. At least I feel like I am currently watching a funeral - and I am not enjoying it at all.

I don't suffer any lag issues at all firslty, I'm sad some had (perhaps it's the zone, or their ports / internet issues) and according to ESO population has only increased according to steamcharts, altho I know it's like a 20% of the total population, I just don't like this kind of "ohhh ESO is dying" without any actual proof.

Regards the video, yeah, I agree with some, with others not, I don't like quite the drama of this video regards ESO dying on all states and the game is everything but good;

But I know there are issues and hopefully ZoS team will aknowledge them and work forward them, thing that I know isn't fast and takes time being a game developer myself, I kinda know the feel of these big issues and they surely take time.
