Hypeing for a game is normal and okey, but telling that you play a game what you look down on is very strange and begs the question, why didn't you quit already.
I'm a casual player with one character that I play, so balance wise cannot say. It was after Morrowind and after Murkmire when I felt my character got weeker.

Many years later u will note all of this: lag, game crashes, more lag, long loading screens, more lag, premades ruining BG, broken npcs, set nerfs, gold sellers, the same type of mounts, more lag, the same type of pets, xp events (more lag), free crown crates (??), the same type of dlcs (always the same), maybe a new "pay to win class"- unbalanced (simil warden), "stuck in combat bug", animation cancelling, screen freezes, dye bugs....... but hey is my fault right??

@Aixy I never said and implied that any of this bugs/errors etc is your fault. I just don't undestand why would someone play a game in her/his freetime what she/he clearly doesn't enjoy.
On topic as @Emma_Overload has a good point. Also there is the fact that in nearly all PvP/PvE games there are playstyles which few can play well, but they can dominate with such playstyle, and casual players who try to achive same results without succes will say that it needs a buff. On the opposite side many will call for nerf because there will be many who feel outperformanced by a niche playstlye.
110% Agree. I enjoy the original proc sets like Skoria but the 5 piece sets and such......ehhhh.I think it was the most fun when the game was still pretty new and we relied on skill to become powerful (as opposed to proc sets, enhanced weapons, etc.). The best time was back when IC was new.
Thus is why I am a skeptic of the term "balance" because what can seem OP can also be based on player skill as well.Emma_Overload wrote: »ESO has never been "balanced" because regardless of the various nerfs and buffs to classes over the years, ZOS has NEVER figured out how to balance Stamina and Magicka. I fear that the flawed relationship between Stamina and Magicka is so entrenched into the game, a fix may not even be possible!

Now, I have no desire to go back to the game prior to One Tamriel, but since then, the Devs deliberately nerf the meta so people have to grind new gear/classes just so they can stay on top.
"Balance" is an ever-moving target and often deliberately moved by the Devs to make players chase the meta and thus play the game longer than they otherwise would.
The only solution is to quit, accept that you have to regrind to be meta, or quit the rat race and be content to be slightly less good than the meta chasers.

The state in which the game gives me enough Advantages while giving differing builds a surplus of Disadvantages to make things "fair".
It's not really that "Unbalanced" now. I see the same tactics roughly working, the same set ups still being done. Some people just jumped on a "Nerfmire" bandwagon and changed EVERYTHING to compensate for the perceived "nerfs". Amateur move.
Things will normalize when our ever-famous Streamer Community puts out new "meta" setups for the uncreative and unskilled to get back to normal after freaking out about everyone saying this-or-that was nerfed to being useless and changing it instead of investigating or finding workarounds.
I mean, people can't be expected to think for themselves, right?
