Used to love reading the forum but all it is now is people whining or envisioning doom & gloom and upcoming death of the game.
Things change. Games change. I remember the hoo-ha about changes with Morrowind - but people adapted. Learnt new ways of playing - makes things a bit more interesting than just doing them same fecking rotation over & over again hey?!
For what it’s worth, I think Mirkmire is a fabulous dlc - gorgeous and with good & interesting quest lines. And yes there is some annoyance about vet trials but that’s being patched,
On PS4 EU and seeing a lot of players in both pvp & pve.
But hey, guess i’m being a white knight or some such idiocy as I dare be positive.

The daily login rewards are exactly what the seem, a means to doctor the player base numbers. ZOS is in a pretty sticky situation. The combat team has ideas. Yet doesn’t play the game. Sad really. If Bethesda ever releases a new Elder Scrolls game half as good as Skyrim, ESO will definitely be in trouble.

Um op, what’s your point? If you don’t wanna play just leave, no need for those leaving goodbye threads.
And fact is I have not seen ps4 population drop, you just not seen new people coming.

Thats what i think holds most the players now anyway, the fact that its a TES game.
If it was any ordinary MMO, honestly i would have been gone in 2016 MAX

@akl77
Please show me where you see goodbye? If you cant read and easily offended then get off the forums and probably off the whole internet
.... and realized I still have LOTRO installed, possibly the oldest game of all time.
The servers are still up, and the forums even still have new posts. That game is possibly a bagijillion years old by now, and looks it too.

Thats quite intersting, I wonder how they would handle that.
Thats probably a great opportunity to allow for console players to switch to PC but I doubt they'd do it even in that case.

In BGs last night I would run up to a fight then my character would stand still for a few seconds and then I would be on the death recap screen. To be honest, it's not usually that much different when I don't lag out but I feel like I at least have a fighting chance.

Not sure where you are playing in PS4 / NA, that you think the game is dying because of lack of players. Clockwork City is so crowded with the event going on that I just have enough time to launch an ultimate and get a few hits in before the world boss dies. I'm not doing the other Clockwork City daily quests because of all the competition from other players for quest materials. When I go to do an Undaunted daily, there are always others to PUG with. And when doing other dailies, I often see other players. Usually several folks are on Guild chat. Stuff I list in the Guild store is selling.And zone chat is active, always someone trying to sell something, or LFG.
