✭Sadly the whining on the forums took the steam out of the excitement for it. So I tried to stay away and I forgot that it's coming out. So it's coming out tomorrow? Well it's 1am here for me October 22nd. So what time will it be out? I have ESO+ so I will be able to play it correct?
Sadly I can't buy anything right now, just enough to get ESO+ so can't buy the collector's edition of Murkmire. So I am excited I can play it. Didn't know it would be today I can.
So my question is, since now I am excited that it's out, do I need to finish the pre quest or just go straight to there?Not my quote but I love this saying

adeptusminor✭✭✭✭And just so my post doesn't come off as edgy, I'll explain why I'm not looking forward to this patch. Firstly, the only part of this game I enjoy now is vet trials. Secondly, I only have a magblade that I have leveled to 50 and gotten all the other grind finished with (mages guild, psijic etc etc). I don't enjoy grinding for new gear. I absolutely don't enjoy spending however many hours it will take to level and grind out mages/fighters guild/psijic/warhorn/caltrops etc etc. I'm disappointed that Zos, instead of buffing other classes to where Magblades were in PVE--a well balanced place, they decided to nerf magblades, along with most other classes. Magblades were eating the carrot on the end of the stick, and instead of shortening the stick for everyone else, they decided to coat the carrot in manure.
The grind in this game is real and has worn me down. I don't enjoy the servers being overloaded because ZoS decides to run an event at the same time they are dropping new content, so abilities take 1.5 seconds to fire off after I press them. Sure, I'll probably do the new arena, but I'm disappointed that ZOS's content has become "lets just throw all the previous stuff together at the end, and call it hardmode/the final stage". They do it with the new trials hardmode, and the new arena's last stage is just all the previous mechanics done at once. That is lazy design in my opinion, and not something I enjoy.
Yes I know that is ranty, but it's also why I'm not particularly looking forward to the new patch.5 -

Totally agree. The new style of hard mode where they just keep adding mechanic upon mechanic is no where near as enjoyable as the older hard modes where you knew what was going to happen but there was more health on the boss, or they hit harder, or like CoA2 you had less time to burn them with less available pads. It felt like there was a smoother transition to hard mode in the older dungeons.I've hidden your signature.2 -

Nothing to do with the "balancing", I'm just not a fan of adding more *** to do when I already have too much *** to do in game. It's seriously giving me anxiety.
The current system of events and adding more to each event each year is fine for people with low number of characters but I feel like I'm drowning with 15 toons. Which I put on ZOS for making me make my 11th toon in order to get the level up rewards and achievement which you get the level rewards to have.
