Who is excited for tomorrow's Murkmire update?

I would have prefered a Public Dungeon instead of an Arena, otherwise looking forward to it; it's a bit odd though to release the DLC in the middle of an event.

So, that's what todays patch thingy is for. Anyone want to bet half our addons won't work?

    :p

People who don't cheat or on consoles have nothing to worry about.

Being able to mail my whole guild up-dates is cheating?
Having a TES3 Morrowind style UI is cheating?
Being able to auto craft writs on 8 toons is cheating?
Having Skyrim style fonts is cheating?

FYI.... Add-ons are mostly QoL. :)

As far as Murkmire, no I'm not that excited. At one time I would have taken off work and set my alarm for release and I would try and be first one in.
Now days, after the JC grind, Psijic Grind, insane Motif grinds, Plunder Skull grinds, Murkmire pre quest grind, and now releasing a new DLC in middle of an event? I haven't even finished Summerset achievements yet! Lol.
Since Summerset release, I find it less and less fun to play due to the over use of "grinding" that ZoS gives us.

Agreed, it is either flame bait, but going by the vast majority of Davors posts, he has pretty much no idea how things work in the game and is constantly asking for people to help him understand everthing.

Already played through it so I know what's to come. Needless to say... nope. Far from it. The titles Nerfmire and Mehmire are apt. Their poorest dlc by far imo. Weak antagonist, annoying main character, meh plot... it had some cool moments, but overall I was left with the bitter taste of swamp in my mouth. Add on top the sledgehammer nerfs/changes, and yeah...

You could have put this in a spoiler tag - I don't want to know about this before I am experiencing it myself for example. And so do others as well.

I'm very excited to be able to arrange my toons in the order I want on my character selection screen.

Not at all excited to see how crappy they made my stamsorc. "Dread" is a more appropriate description of my feeling there.

I'm as excited for it as I was the time in school where the bigger kids stripped me naked, kicked me in the balls, then took turns tea-bagging me over lunch break to teach me 'not to be a smart-arse'.

I'll be playing less and probably not step foot in PvP. Since I use light armor and it was turned to trash, no real point in doing so. I'll let the zergball tank v. tank combat be someone else's problem. It does get quite old having to defend a keep alone vs 6-10 guys wearing ultra-tanky builds + guards when they flip flags and you cant do anything. Won't be missing it.

EDIT: It gets older faster when you are in light armor :D

I'm always excited for new content. As for the base game changes, if past "game-breaking QQ" changes are anything to go by I won't even spot them let alone be affected by them.

Not excited at all. Lets face it. Each DLC or Update ZOS puts out creates more bugs and game performance issues. This DLC will be no different. Oh and lets not forget how many addons will be broken and of course the nerfs. Disagree, well look at the past history of new content being added.

I'll have a bit of short-term interest as I experiment with new builds.. then will probably give up as I realise how hard the nerfs have bit despite doing what I can to make it workable..

No strong opinion one way or the other. I'm not getting Murkmire right away, and I don't play at a level where the nerfs will likely be noticable (didn't really notice the various "omg, nerfstorm!" that have happened in the past)

...but then I saw a comment about addons, and remembered that stuff is likely to be broken for a week. /sigh

just read through the patch notes ,and the shield isn't been Nerfed???

it says, you can do a critical damage to the shields and now the resistance apply to all shields .
Most monsters don;t do criticals, as a tank id say it's a good news.
