Dude we get new content four times a year, ongoing. How is that not coming back?
Broken content that is. No need to go blind here, stuff goes live broken and stays like that forever.
Please, oh please, remove yourself and your negativity and exaggerated whiny behavior from this community if you hate this game so much.
Send me your stuff before you live?
Much love and enjoy the summer.

Zos won't be working on the new elder scrolls, Bethesda will.
Different companies.

But isn't Bethesda owned by Zenimax?

Who are you again? Why u dumbly assume i'm leaving or sth? And since when saying a strict fact is considered negativity?
There are loads of game breaking bugs that stay for years. I like new content at least as much as everyone else, i'm just not dumbly smiling at whatever they put in front of me.

Dude... Game breaking? Unfixed for years? Console player, maybe? Because I'm sure it isn't PC. I play PC and I can't see anything game breaking that lasts over a few days. But whatever... You seem like the average angst teen, even if you're older. Not wasting any more time with you.
Again, much love and have fun.
They’re probably another PC master racer trying to tell people what to play the game on.themaddaedra wrote: »themaddaedra wrote: »themaddaedra wrote: »themaddaedra wrote: »Well i was wondering where all the money from ESO plus and crowns were going, since they don't really look like coming back to ESO

I would love them to make MMO like ESO with the same ideasbuti n Fallout universe - that woulkd be so cool.
MLGProPlayer wrote: »I would personally prefer an ESO 2, but I'm fine with a new IP, as long as it's not Fallout/Wolfenstein/Doom online as I don't find any of those universes interesting. ZOS is the best MMO dev out there by a fair margin, so I'm intrigued by this new project.

Good point, I guess it could be a new IP for ZOS but an IP already owned by Bethesda. I wonder which ones would be strong enough to hold up as an MMO though?SantieClaws wrote: »Interesting.
Not sure how I feel about ZOS potentially working on two products considering the time pressure they already face just for ESO. Although considering the masses of jobs they're advertising it would seem it'll be two very different teams.
I wonder what it is though, as it says new IP.
A new IP altogether or a new IP for them …?
Would be very risky taking on a totally unknown IP and this one cannot see them doing that no.
Therefore it must be an already well known IP that isn't yet an MMO.
Do we already have a Harry Potter online?

Responsibilities:
- Implement core engine tech
- Turn engine architectural goals into reality
- Develop core engine components (threading, object system, memory management, file system, etc.)
- Work with engineers, artists, designers, world builders, and producers to match core engine features and performance to the game’s vision

They have been working on ESO since 2007 (11 years now) I am sure they are getting sick and tired of it by now.
How would all of you like to be stuck at the same job working and doing the same exact thing for 11 years? Burnout is one of the top reasons people quit jobs and move on to other companies. If you want to keep good people, you can't let them get burnt out. This is why Bethesda pushed back TES6 because they were getting burnt out on it per Pete Hines interview back in 2014. Hence we get Starfield something completely different.
I wouldn't be surprised if they shut ESO off completely in the next 24-36 months simply put because anyone, I don't care who you are, anyone, is going to get burned out working on the same exact project, the same exact things for 11 years. If they go 2 more years, thats 13 years on the same project...Either Firor and Co are allowed to work on something else, or they will all walk at some point and move on to other jobs where they can do something else.
Its obvious that Bethesda/Zenimax Media values ZOS, for that reason, much like Bethesda allowed Howard and Co to take a break from TES, ZOS will be allowed to take a break from TES and work on other ideas.
nothing lasts forever, and expecting them to work on ESO forever like some WOW is unreasonable, Zenimax/Bethsda is NOT Blizzard and they don't operate that way. Bethesda/Zenimax doesn't treat their employees like dirt and indentured servants like other companies do.
ZOS will be allowed to explore other avenues in the future, and those plans won't include ESO.
This is a GOOD THING. I am excited to see what ZOS will do in the future, they were a young company starting out, i bet there are many things they would have done different with ESO if they knew back then what they knew now. This is how studios grow, Howard wasn't perfect and great out the gate, it was something that was worked on overtime. If ZOS learns from their mistakes moving forward they have a chance to be one of the great game studios, they have a lot of talent their, and a lot to be proud of to pour their soul into a new project and idea, all of us will get lots of enjoyment from this. Never be afraid of a bright future!

Anything from ZoS is automatically lacklustre after a few months so this new game will be trash
tinythinker wrote: »ZOS is hiring new people, not telling current staff they have to do double-duty, and not everyone at ZOS has been working on the project since 2007. ESO will stay open as long as it makes a minimal profit and helps draw players in to other Bethesda/ZOS content, no matter which staff stays or moves on to other projects over time.

So if they're saying this now, it might come out in six years and could be an MMO of what new IP Bethesda Game Studio releases.
