Yeah that describes everyone and wouldn’t be indicative of class loyalty.

What we’re really after here is trying to see if your main is still your main

DK great at surving big plus but so bad at killing and my playstyle is defence by offence so I play now many other alts and my DK is a crafter, its a bit sad really

I play all the classes. I used to be more picky, but ZOS has done such a good job of homogenizing them that what ends up mattering more is Stamina vs Magicka.

I was Sorc main but rarely play it anymore

Started with Magsorc during pre-release, got bored of it after 1 year because it became so one-dimensional and easy even back then (batsorc into negatemonkey into 1.6 killing machine). Swapped it to Altmer Stamsorc (we didnt have race change back then), played it for 2 great years. Stamina in general and Stamsorc in particular got huge buffs during those 2 years so I felt bored again.

Now I'm maining Magicka Warden since it came out. I'd say I'm very class loyal as long as I feel its challenging and diverse enough to play (kinda opposite Fotm player). I'd never touch another stamina setup currently because they all feel like differently flavored versions of the same cheap fast food (db et al).

I just like playing a brawler type class. Its kind of a shame in ESO, ''rogues'' make better ''brawlers'' though. Unless you count stamdens, then I got nothing to complain about.

Edit: you probably should have included stam/mag differences.

But only as far as PvP is concerned.

For the rest of the game I have everything except a stamden and I play them all equally.

I've mained one magsorc since I first started the game and never made any alts that got past 50. That might have to change with Nerfmire though since it's not going to be fun playing a gutted class.

My main is a NB, first class I built when starting this game 4 years ago.
That doesn't mean I don't try other classes, in fact I have all of them.

The thing with the other classes is that when I get bored of the NB I go and play for a month with another class with a new build, until I get bored again and switch back to NB.
I enjoy a lot the sorc as well, but the ganking and stealthing of the NB is just too hard to resist.

I play all the classes. It helps me in my L2P. Can't hate on a class you've played/tried to make builds for.

My first true love was StamNB. So he is my main.

DK was my first character, played it so much that needed fresh things, thats why play it less these days. Its almost like a crafter only.

I once saw a hilarious video from a certain someone that showed the best way to play DK, it was to login to warden. Laughed so hard that not sure if laughed or cried, because at that point that was exactly how i felt too.

(I loved the old Battle Roar and the general dk kit before Morrowind happenings)

Nowadays playing all other classes though, stamsorc the most perhaps by a small margin. Because a WW stamsorc is just fun and decently versatile at pvp. Negate is so sweet for Cyrodiil. Always when not on stamsorc i miss Negate the most about it.

I played them all when I started the game so I could learn how each class plays but now I only play my stamsorc. My only other chars are crafters/mules.

I like and play all the classes equally. I dont have a "main" or "identify" with a class.

I fail to grasp the concept of "class loyalty". If u only do single player pve content, doesnt it get boring fast, with only the same few skills over and over again? If u go into "competitive" areas, in pve u gotta a roll a new toon all few month to satisfy "meta" and how can u pvp when u dont know how to play and counter the other classes?

It would somewhat explain major parts of the "nerf this" posts, when ppl only play a single class and aint even good at that tho.

Your last paragraph is exactly why I wanted to do this poll. I don’t disagree with you at all.
