Since Dwemers only disappeared and ESOverse is a cannon. Will we ever see and possibly play this magnificent race? I mean they're bloody Dwarves! No fantasy genre feels authentic without them. :p

Edit: Pardon my ignorance. I know they're smaller version of elves with all beards and stuff but I didn't expect them to be bigger than Dwarves. You know how imagination plays. I don't want them playable now since they're not dwarves. :D

    Dwemers aren't bloody dwarves man... They are elfs actually and its rather educated and enlighted race.

    And they weren't your typical "dwarves".
    They were taller than Bosmer.


    At most we could find one certain Dwemer who "survived".

    Or maybe we could see one outside of Nirn, in a similar way that we found the Ayleid king...
    Or in a flashback...

    But as a playable race? No way.

    Dragons and skeevers as a playable races are more likely.

    I don't believe we will see them playable, especially not in ESO. I feel certain they will continue to be used in ESO, and future Elder Scrolls games for story, and lore content.

    As I pointed out many, many times before, Dwemer cannot be seen as player race without serious lore breakage... since we -know- from the talk with the last dwemer back in TES-III:Morrowind that there has not been a single sighting of another dwemer in all the time between the battle of red mountain 2800 years before ESO, and that one 740 years or so after the events of ESO... heck, there has not been a sighting in the two centuries after that until the events of TES-V:Skyrim either, because if there had been, it would have been a -huge- thing that -everyone- would be talking about.

    So, the Dwemer are completely unsuitable as player race, though we might someday get a "flashback" quest showing us their prime... maybe...

    We already see one in the Dwarven ruin of Rkindaleft. Sadly, he doesn't look like a dwarf.

    I prefer leaving Dwemers unexplored, they may prove a total disappointment and that would be a complete disaster for the lore and spoil all around their mystery.

    They are elves wiith beards more or less Not short and round, but tall and bearded They are mer.

    But nope we will never have them for lore reason, would rather have one of the races from across the sea has a race choice that is left over form the invesion really or some other reason

    While having Dwemer would be interesting.Having more than more than a 1 or 2 would be like writing Valyrians into Game of Thrones. Daenerys being the rare Valyrian for those less familiar with finer aoiaf details.

    First off, Dwarves are part of Norse mythology while the fantasy genre was popularized by Tolkien. Blizzard has nothing to do with this. Take your WoW/Blizzard nonsense elsweyr.

    They were also well shown in Arkngthunch-Sturdumz in Vvardenfell as ghosts.

    The Dwemer are gone, and they'll stay gone. You can't just take a Race that's completely disappeared from the face of Nirn and turn them into a new playable Race and suddenly have hundreds of Dwemer running around.

    Since ESO is set in the past, and as of "present day" Skyrim the Dwarves are still missing, it's completely impossible for them to appear... Unless...

    Playable Dwarves happen, they disappear again at the end of ESO's lifespan, and the memory of them ever returning is erased...

    But luckily TES doesn't butcher their own lore like Warcraft, and this will never happen.

    This poll is stupid really. If you knew anything about the TES lore you would know the Dwemer zero summed and vanished for good. They no longer exist. I think one survived because he was in oblivion at the time.

    So unless you want to be the only dwemer player and be fat and have metal robot legs, then sure.

    To be fair we probably already saw a Dwemer in ESO, but it's a lot of speculation.

    The Auditor in Rkindaleft is possibly a Dwemer, but it is not confirmed and everything is rather ambiguous.

    Where does it say that they zero-summed? AFAIK when the Heart was struck they just disappeared into nothingness, without a clue. I often see people say that they became the skin of the Numidium but haven't found anything in regards to that either.
