I am, and glad of it, too. Just the craftbag alone is worth the price, not even counting the daily rewards, free crowns and the like. To put things in perspective - for what I'd spend on 1-2 drinks in a bar I significantly increase the resources available to me while playing. Keeps me from getting a DUI, too!

I realize a very large number of players are under the drinking age, so here's another perspective - ESO is free to play, and non-subscribers really only miss the craftbag, the DLC (which can be purchased separately without subscription) and daily rewards. Most other MMORPGS don't offer this type of access. As a subscriber you have access to all of the game, including all DLC, whereas with say, WoW, if you don't subscribe, you can't even max a character out.

Personally, I think they did a very nice balancing act between subscribers and FTP here.

I have been subbing almost the entirety of my ESO experience.

I have toyed with unsubbing now and again, but keep it mostly for the crafting bag.

I am spoiled by that darned bag...

I'm subbed since a few weeks after I've startet playing again in 2016. But I think the current sub-month will be my last. Murkmire moves the game in a direction that just isn't fun for me anymore.

Just started my ESO+ subscription a few days ago after cancelling my 2 wow subscriptions which I was paying and not using. I heard players mentioning how good the crafting bag was and wanted to see for myself. After just a few days I can't understand why I didn't subscribe ages ago, I love it :)

I understand what you're trying to say, but I think your logic is flawed. If a big portion of their revenue stops coming in for the game (with your idea that everyone stop paying for ESO+), you think that is going to trigger them to spend a ton of money on new servers (to fix lag), game development (to fix bugs), and more resources for other problems? I honestly don't think so.

ESO+ is a great freemium model among the current MMO's, but I haven't subbed for a while now.
I subbed since launch and bought my last 3 month sub with the launch of Morrowind, which was a bit of a disappointment in the length of storyline department. In less than two weeks I found myself left with just a grind for motifs that I wasn't really interested in.

Another MMO became my "main" time consumer, ESO was just a few nights of PVP and after work craft writ relaxation until Summerset release. Summerset brought with it some irritating bugs and glitches which meant I decided not to sub up again.

Never really found crown store items worth buying so still have a build up of ESO+ crowns to spend on worthwhile DLC, I have no interest in the housing, dungeon buddies have moved to other games/irl stuff, I have learnt to get by with standard bank space and no crafting bag and it looks like logging in for 24 days in November will get me a free DLC.

Good, go buy some crown crates then also tell to your friends and guildies to do so along with you fun ZoS pockets while playing with 150+ ms and take the test on your "flawless" logic since mine is flawed. :)

I just started playing again 2 weeks ago after taking a 4 year break.

Somehow, and I have no idea how, but I had been paying for ESO+ the entire time I was gone. I think it had to do with pulling the funds from a Paypal account that I never looked at.

On the good side, I had 70k Crowns....

You then started talking about crown crates, which was not part of the discussion at all. The topic is about ESO+.... you said stop paying for it and that will teach them a lesson. I disagreed with your logic. And don't throw a red-herring out there with crown crates, stay on the discussion topic.

For me, I pay for the game because it is fun to play and that makes it worth my time and money. When I stop paying, it not to send a message, or teach a lesson. My voice is not loud enough to matter. Individually, I doubt that ZOS pays any attention to who subscribes, or why they stop.

When I stop paying for a game, it is because the game is not as fun, and not worth paying for.

More funds mean they can hire more people to make this game GOOD.
Stopping funds means they will have fewer resources to do so.
Besides, the game has never been this well balanced. Years ago there were balance issues for all classes and abilities, now it is reduced to a few classes and abilities that need a small adjustment into the correct direction.

    I'm a student, I'm poor.

But even if I had more money I still wouldn't sub. I don't really see why.

Craft bag might actually be useful but I can manage well enough without it (There's something called 'Guild Store', it gives you bank/inventory space and gold...)
ESO+ does not unlock the DLC's permanently and since I'm someone who likes to replay stuff on different chars it's a much better deal to buy a pack of crowns when they are on sale, then wait for the aniversary event and get it then.
I don't really care about most things from the crown store. I don't use costumes as I rather make my own ones at an outfit station. I find polymorphs ugly as ...ahem. I don't need a large house, especially with the item limit being so low. I craft furnishings myself or buy them in a guild store. And should there ever be an item that does interest me I'd still have enough crowns from that one sale.

Whilst I can certainly see the benefits of plus, managing your bank is reasonably easy:
Do you really need those below cp160 or level 46 to 50 mats? Just sell them as you get them.
Enchanting writs only need 5 types if you are doing the lowest or highest level glyphs. Store the rest on your enchanting master writ crafter.
Non monster head and shoulder pieces, unless one set is training, are of no use. Decon them.
Style materials you don't use often can be stored on an alt.
One alt stores all the provisioning mats; how often do you make food?
I sort my stuff as I am doing my daily writs. Doing the master crafter last.
You get plus as a trial every few months. Use it to empty your bank.

    It's not hard really.
