PTS Update 20- Unofficial Music Box Feedback

Not to be harsh, I like the idea of a music box playing music but I am not a fan of how it was implemented.

• They only play one song. I would rather have one music box that I can purchase multiple songs that I use to play in them. Its also one furnishing slot per one unique song in this current model.
• They can take up more than one "Traditional furnshings". We are starving for housing slots and it should be one music box that can play multiple songs, not one music box per a unique song. it should also count under another type of furnishing slot.
• They are not the original songs. I was hoping to hear the actual song, not a simpler version.
• The music boxes seem to be crown exclusive.
• It takes up a inventory space. It should function like collectable furnishings where you can place them from your collectables and they don't take an inventory space.

Well, my interest in hopping on PTS to check out the music boxes has diminished.

That is a really crappy way to implement this. Especially when they know how detested the furnishing limit is.

They expect us to pay for something that works like a real life music box, tinny tinkling noises, instead of an ESO magical "bard in a box"?!

No thanks. Easy definitive pass on this.

I'll wait for an actual bard follower, or at least NPC I can place in my home.
The free /lute and /flute emotes are better than this music box by far. I just want somebody to actually sing the songs with the lute music.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom I hope you take feedback on the music boxes as in this current state it is hurtful to housing slots and it really should be multiple tracks we can buy for our one music box, not one song per one box

More than for a simple box I had hoped for real NPC singers and musicians to put inside the house, to make it more lively. Add a music instrument furniture pack and everything is fine.

I was also hoping for something more useful in the repertoire of the music box, for example: I'm just trying to decorate a house with nice zone music into a spooky halloween house for the season. I would love to be able to let the music box play something eerie that helps to change the mood of the house.

I've just installed the music box in my Snow Globe house. I think it is delightful.
