HEALING WARD LOST IT'S HEAL

    What comes with these changes, healing ward burst heal is one of the most crucial changes to me as a solo PvP player.
    And why is that so?
    My main is mag NB and my ONLY fitting burst heal I had was from healing ward. However since shields won't last long under high pressure, they NEVER remain on for their whole duration, unless I cast the shield somewhere where nobody is near and try to wrek me into thousand pieces. I also used to slot Swallow Soul for getting that passive minor vitality to help my healing, but now that's gone too.
    Not to mention that idiotic cast time on annulment shield. Earlier I had to rely on dampen magic shield combined with healing ward if I wanted to remain visible and actually fight without cloacking away.

    It seems like I'll join to this new The Heavy Armor Online - meta and start theorycrafting complete new build.

    TBH I'd honestly be all for more zergs if their servers could actually handle it. But since they can't I prefer small scale

    I like small scale too, however solo has been always my favorite PvP type in Cyrodiil and when keeping an eye what kind of changes devs added to the game, it seems like they want to get rid of rest of us, who still loved solo PvP. :'(

    Its bad, Healing Ward will not proc sets what depend from healing target, I use it with Combat Physician and Chokethorn as wardens dont have non target burst heal like BoL or twinlight, thats was useful for PUG when pesky DD roam into far points of map away from healing area.

    Ha! Honestly though, this is something that I can see people taking an extended break over. I left ESO for about an year and a half since I was sick and tired of grinding for sharpened weapons (back when it was the only viable trait, despite the combat team's insistence to the contrary.) Skipped Morrowind entirely. When Summerset came out, I took a look at the changes since I left and I liked it -- transmutation and balanced weapon traits. Too bad. I thought PvP is actually pretty balanced right now and was enjoying my magblade (the heavy stam/speed/bleed meta is a little overtuned but tolerable.) I have geared stam toons to join the meta but will probably go through my steam backlog instead.

    The change to shields is so stupid because it won't have the result that ZOS wants and every body except ZOS knows it.
    In pvp the result will be every magicka toon will be forced into running a resto staff. You think zergs are bad now, wait until half of every zerg is casting healing ward and mutugen. And in pve with block and dodge being the only useful active damage mitigation tools left stamina toons will end up with better survivability, combined with stamina's already better dps, magicka will simply become undesirable in end game content.

    I think they got nerfed from good to middling. Probably still one of the better magicka classes in PvP, but it boggles the mind that ZOS would look at the current PvP situation and decide to nerf magicka instead of stamina. I can understand that some PvE changes are necessary, but you make targeted incisions or you adjust content, instead of swinging a bat in a china shop.
