Hey,

I’m a player with over 2500 hours spent in this game..
i’ve completed all the possible until today, the character sheet, all golden geared.. vet trials and dungeon, i’ve tanked, healed, done damage.
I’ve got almost all motifs too, completed the lorebooks, token all the skyshard with all my pgs..

I was looking to become emperor with my main but i’ve got not so much time actually to spent in videogames.

Anyway, after i have done all those things, today, i feel very empty. It’s like i’ve spent those 2500 hours doing nothing, due to i believe this game doesn’t give enough satisfaction.

I’ve done almost all the quests, i was rewarded with the same things: ~100 golds and crap equip to deconstruct or destroy.

How i noticed i feel empty?

I’ve started to play another MMO 3 weeks ago, and even if i’ve spent like only 20 hours on that game, i feel very satisfied due to with certain quests i’ve got reputation with a faction and i was able so, to buy special items related to that faction. Potions, food, even an item to breath under water.. awesome.

With only 20h of gameplay i feel satisfied, happy and i really enjoy the immense number of players walking around!
Really even in non starter areas you can see ~200 people doing quests and killing mobs, or roleplaying or.. pff dancing.. really i feel in a very populated world!

Maybe lot of you have understood what game is it, just i don’t want to do external announcements on an eso forum regarding another game.

So, i’m leaving this fantastic game, due to i’ve found something satisfying out here.

Eso is a great game, but i believe it needs more experience by the customers, in terms of talking with playing community.
A game, in general, goes forward in ages, due to gamers. If you do every patch something that gamers doesn’t like at all, don’t believe that your gamers population will remains the same.
(I’m talking about cast time on shields and other killing classes nerf)

So, what to say anymore, guys, have fun.. this is still a fantastic game, maybe i’ll return back in future.. maybe.. but i think my free time is going to be less due to i have to give some more time to my family and children.

You got burnt out on eso and are now in the 'honeymoon' phase of another game. Variety is good so have fun.

Feeling empty after 2,500 hours spent on a game means you're burned out, while 20 satisfying hours spent on a new game means it's still fresh and exciting. Feel free to come back and tell us how you feel when you're spent 2,500 hours on that game - oh wait, you'll be back here the week after next anyway (they always are) !

All the players here just have to arrogantly comment like they don't care, but most likely they do care.. You come here to post, so you do care after all. Anyway, he actually made a very constructive post and gave a ton of feedback. You should be thanking him for his dedication in his farewell post, not lamenting him just for saying goodbye. I actually agree with many of his points; though im not quitting (yet.. I guess we are all quitters in the end...).

I understand being burnt out after spending 2500 hours straight in one game. That's why I play other games while playing ESO. Hell, sometimes I even go outside once in while.... just to make sure it's still there . Anyway, good luck in whatever you're doing now
