    'Melee' range in this game is already 5m-7m, so it's not like the scale wasn't screwed up to start with.

    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    It was a requested QoL range change for Claw since it is inconsistent as all hell to hit it at its live range. All melee should be 7m imo because hitboxes for bosses and moving targets in this game are wonky.

    By the way, still can be outrun by Swift. And it's not like that sort of speed is how physics work either.

    OR the DK rips through the air with such force that it creates a jet stream that causes a tear 8m away. The venom emitted from their claws travels so fast prior to impact that you don't see it until it makes contact with the target.

    You simply lack creativity.

    That was already true for lots of things. There's no contact for melee. Feels off when the guy can slash with with a dagger light attack from 5m away. So yeah... Immersion. Haha

    Light/Heavy attacks used to be 7 m and the recent change to 5 m is really sucky. Landing SnB heavies with any kinda lag is impossible.

    Also you will Dizzy Swing someone and then they are out of reach for a follow-up heavy attack. Really wish this change was reverted.

      I can confirm that Wrecking Blow is not counted as "Instant cast melee skill", so the range is still 7m (like usual). But Puncture, Heroic Slash and 2H execute all got the 2m buff.

      Granted, most stamina abilities in the game don't fit into common image of something a normal person can do. In my imagination, stamina in ESO is also a variety of magic, with the difference being... something along the lines of differences between, say, wizards and clerics or druids or what have you in other computer or tabletop systems. Wizards use mana/magicka to cast spells; others (like stamina in ESO) uses innate power reserves to, basically, also do magic after a fashion. In this case, some innate magic attributed to dragon blood running in their veins or something of that sort.

      Bottom line, looking at the stamina as something entirely non-magical is pointless. It's also magic, just different flavor. ^^
