It matches the Psijic Guar pet, and they already revealed the matching Psijic Pony pet to go with this mount.

The saddle is done in the style the Psijic mounts are done in, for a free mount, this looks nice.

In settings you can hide mount upgrades, if that helps the aesthetics for you.

Under settings, its under the gameplay section, you can hide speed, carrying capacity, and stamina upgrade visuals.

yep, the carrying capacity upgrade can be hidden under Settings, then Gameplay.

I wish they'd stop making mounts with cool effects and then covering them with blankets so you can't see much of it.

If it had a matching saddle, I’d probably be a little more hyped. I’ll never use this on any of my characters, but different strokes.

...it's a Psijic horse along the same lines as the Psijic Senche and the Psijic Guar. It's not bad, but it's just another horse reskin. It's not making me regret avoiding Summerset, is what I'm saying.

Not bad.. but, I still like the current Psijic mounts better. I like the transparent crystal ghost-like image of the current mounts.

Looks so boring, like all these electric kind of horses, breaking immersion. What do they have from original es? They are all made artificially to just look more and more fictitiously.
Last horse that made me hyped was the Nightmare Courser, and I didn't find yet any interesting enough after that one.

Just because something's "free" doesn't mean it's instantly applause worthy. How many years of reskinned mounts are we going to get? This was the perfect opportunity to get people into Summerset and get some cool Summerset themed mounts but instead it's a reskin of a mount from the Imperial City DLC, a DLC that released nearly half a decade ago.



Also I put quotes around the word "free" because I'm already paying a subscription fee on top of yearly expansion packs. If the game remained subscription-based, all these cosmetics that are now gated behind loot boxes and crown store purchases would be rewards in game.

This. It's nice that they're giving stuff away for free now, but that doesn't mean everyone has to like every random skin they dump onto our accounts.

My new phone came with "free" headphones. Aside from the fact that I'm fairly certain the price of them was just included in the price of the phone am I supposed to be really happy that I've got yet another pair of cheaply made headphones which are worse than the ones I already had and which I'll never use just because they were in the same box as the thing I actually wanted?

Same idea here - it's nice that they do free promotions but that doesn't mean it's always going to be something everyone wants and can use or that we should all pretend we do want it just because we're not paying for it.

(for some reason I just don't like any of the 'flashy' mounts in this game, even though Iv'e happily used all sorts of silly things in other games. All my characters ride a basic, normal-looking horse.)

This looks nice, not sure if it fits any of my characters though. I can't get too hyped about the horse mounts in general. They run funny.

I'm the same. I think it's because it looks more out of place with ESO's art style and the way the world is designed.

In other games with more bright colours, flashy effects and 'magitech' (basically modern stuff in a fantasy setting explained as being magical) it doesn't seem out of place to ride a brightly coloured glowing animal. But in ESO I think it does look out of place.

I do have and use the Psijic horse, but only on my sorcerer and warden and to me it makes sense that those characters could summon a magical construct to ride. Several of my other mounts aren't exactly supported in the wider TES lore (like wolves and sabrecats) but what's important to me is they look like they belong in the world. And over 1/2 my total mounts are horses of various colours and patterns.
