Summerfall mount reveal has me drooling!!!!

Don’t care too much for it, but anything that’s free is worth saving up for....

It's a very nice looking mount, but I personally have little interest in the "weird" mounts. I wish they'd give us more realistic horse colors. I liked the game better when it only had horses in natural colorations.

When you go play a singleplayer Elder Scrolls games you find grey, black, pinto, etc horses and not horses with neon green with blue stripes and surrounded by leaves and purple flames.

But alas, it's an MMO, so they have to cater to that crowd. I just wish they'd cater to the ES crowd in regards to mounts too. There's plenty of room for variety in both realistic and crazy mounts, but even when they gave us the White Gold Imperial horse, in a natural real world coloration, they covered it with golden sparkles for some insane reason...

People are going to bring up Arvak; I'm going to preemptively note that his presence was integrated into the world as you wouldn't even see him without going to Soul Cairn first (which I acknowledge: they're getting a little better at in ESO), and you had to go adventuring to get him. And even then there were half-a-dozen normal horses for each unusual mount, rather than the other way around.

Not all mounts can hide their accessories. The saber tooth and the elk for example.

The saddle/bridle look amazing, but I really don't like the psijiic blue wavy lines all over it. I wish they'd stop making these psijiic mounts/pets.

I'd rather see a natural horse color any day.

Regarding the indrik mounts people are posting about, I'll bring this over from the other thread on the Summerfall giveaway:

On the PTS, event tickets allowed you to purchase an "Emerald Indrik Feather" which is almost definitely a fragment of either of the latter Indrik pet or mount. So at least one of them is going to be purchasable with event tickets and not a reward from the event itself. It costs ten event tickets for one Emerald Indrik Feather and it takes three Emerald Indrik Feathers to create the runebox.

If I had to guess I would say the Indrik pet is the event ticket runebox reward and the mount will be Crown-exclusive.

Except it won't hide the armor. Most new mounts are designed with the armor super-glued to them now. Shame.

P.S: Horse is just a black horse with the crown crate psijic armor slapped on it, along with the guar pets jarring markings. Hard pass.

I'm happy to see people finally understand we're fed with same 3D recolored models, which are selling like special ones. Moreover, we don't have an opportunity to dye mounts like in GW2. SImply because ZO$ will lose money on selling them. While making a new 3D model takes a time and again - money.
Also, add here bad mounts' animation and really low quality of models we have. Well, maybe I was in a wrong zoo, but I remember quite different animals...

So, no, I'm not hyped on another reskin ever a free one. Because I won't use it even if I get it for free.
I'd rather pay for a new, but good quality product, than for lion which is lioness with "mane" added.

I like it mostly because it's a "slimmer" horse - legs, hocks, fetlocks.... I was tired of the "plow horse" aesthetic in Skyrim, and extra tired of it now, though ESO's "plow horses" aren't quite as bad as Skyrim's.

I was getting ready to run a repair on my client in case the "problem" persisted after login today. I'm glad I can turn it off-- and that I finally have an explanation for what that horror was.

Oh, and the horse is adorable! I must collect him

As someone stated earlier, a few mounts do not offer mount upgrades, but the vast majority do. I hope yours lets you hide them Glad to help!

It did, and beautifully! Now my kitty looks like a flame-breathing midnight cuddle-wuddle instead of a mutant cyborg with mummy legs

Any free mount will be so common that even if it looks good, it won't be worth it.
I don't understand why many are so hyped about this.
