Booted for server (error 307) for too much XP for a short period(a guess)?

So everytime I turn 50-60 or more master writs with 150% XP pot, I get booted from server. I do understand it is some kind of protection, but I do understand also there is a way to recognize when it is from legit way of turning in master writs. I use this particular way to level character skills, like Psijic line recently.

Not a biggie, I can wait 10-15 minutes, but yet very stupid.

I very much doubt it's because of writs, @Bagatur ... since you have to activate the new master writ quests after turning in the old quests for rewards. In other words, you're not spamming 60 turn-ins at a time.

I cleared out a guild bank of motifs earlier (about 150 pages) and I got a 307 error shortly after that. I get that there is a safety net in place for certain shady activities, but that was my own bank made with 9 free accounts that will never log in again. Am I 100% sure that's what caused the boot? Of course not, but it's annoying anyway.

That is probably the absolute fastest xp/minute in the game currently. If you have all those items precrafted with the writworthy addon, you can gain levels in seconds and go to level 50 in less than 20 minutes once the prep work is done. It's entirely possible that could flag a 307 error.

It doesn't, but having psijic skills slotted will ensure those skills level as you turn the quests in.

This ^^. Precrafted, takes several minutes for that much writs, because I monitor skills after each 2-3 writs. About 2 millions XP roughly. Could take even less time. Key sequence is very short - E, 1, I, double click, 1 - for each writ, literally 2-3 seconds.

It happened not just today, it happens always when I do such session, for 3rd or 4th time now, as I craft master writs every 6-10 days, depending how full my bank is with them. It is like this, with the booting, since Summerset.

This exact same thing happened to me twice last week. I used the free 150XP scroll and turned in a ton of master writs and got booted with error 307 message. The first time I wasn’t sure that’s what caused it and I still had more to turn in so I did it again and got booted again, error 307.

Have you considered slowing down and doing something in between.. If you know why its happening why not try to mitigate it and whats the hurry?

Because the potion??? And how many tries it will take to discover how much is the XP I can safely generate and how long is the cool down? Totally out of discussion.
The point is not to circumvent badly thought design, but to make ZOS rethink and redo it to work in a meaningful way.

I usually do about 100 mw's at a time with 150% exp pot and have not got booted for it.

You don't happen to have a custom addon that accepts the mw quests and auto turns in when you talk to him, do you? I haven't seen one on ESOUI that does that yet, why I ask custom. All my accept quest and turn in are done manually in front of him and as said above no issues. Also didn't have issues when I did durring event with 150% exp on top of the 100% event exp buff.

Problem is since Summerset. Before that I didn't have problem with 250% XP buff either. As written above, add-on is writworthy. It autoturns writs, but each one is separate interaction with Rolls. And I accept them manually, described above even what it takes.

Ah I use writworthy to craft, didn't realize they had an auto turn in. Doesn't seem like that would be that big of a difference but the small time saved could add up, making you just a little bit faster than it allows.

you can turn in quite a few in a very short period though, by prepping the gear and consumables up front, and then using a pot or scroll when you stand at the vendor, then you open writ, turn it in, open, turn in...I've never had more than about 30-35 at a time in my inventory, so that's the most i've ever done at one time, but with a 100% buff, I've gained somewhere between 750k-1m in XP in roughly 15-20 minutes. For an extra bump, I'd sometimes have a main story quest ready to turn in also, because they're also high XP plus a skill point. I'd use the pot/scroll, turn in the main quest, then go to the writ vendor & keep going...

I've also had this.

I guess devs need to investigate every instance of such high value gains.

However, I can't see how they couldn't make an exception to the booting rule seeing how this kind of exp gain is only possible from 3 stationary positions in the entire game.

But wait - doesn't it take a lot of time to precraft those items? I thought if you were using the lazy writ crafter, it would only craft the stuff from writs you'd actually accepted, not just writs you had in your inventory. Wouldn't you need to craft the stuff from accepted writs, turn them in, then go back to the crafting tables to make the stuff from newly accepted writs?

No, use Writworthy. Have writs in you inventory, bring up add-on window, select all, interact with required stations, or all them as I do, stand in front of Rolls, accept and turn in, repeat for all.

It's not because of fast leveling. Yesterday I was trying to do some dlc dungeons and one of our dds was randomly kicked at login screen at the start of the dungeon and couldnt log in for a while because of those messages.

It happens because you gain XP without actually moving your character (changing it's position). It's a new protection system from different exploits conected with XP gain. As a side effect you get booted from this server and recieve error while turning a lot of premade crafting writs, sieging players in cyrodil, getting boosted by somone in groupl while beeing afk yourself etc.

It happens because you gain XP without actually moving your character (changing it's position). It's a new protection system from different exploits conected with XP gain. As a side effect you get booted from this server and recieve error while turning a lot of premade crafting writs, sieging players in cyrodil, getting boosted by somone in groupl while beeing afk yourself etc.

This makes a lot of sense. I've also been booted while on a siege in Cyrodiil and not moving for a long time, but still getting a lot of kills.
