Please don't advocate for ZOS to put even more crafting items behind combat challenges. There is too much of this around already.
I'm guessing you enjoy questing, maybe fishing or housing? You certainly have not concerned yourself with combat in your time since One Tamriel, or at least not with solo combat, like duelling and vMA. What you're saying is completely off base. I can kind of understand your point of view, if you're rigidly sticking to one role (DD / tank / healer) in a group setting. Don't do that, though. 1 per zone probably can be soloed by a (CP500+) DK or Sorcerers or a tank after 15 minutes.
But the majority have mechanics now. DDs get one shotted regardless the CP. Is easier to solo a Dark Anchor without being level 50 (nor having a single CP), than a World Boss with full gear at high CP.
