How many Gamer Laptop Keyboards Have You Worn Out?

Will someone gift me a "Acer Predator 21" it is only 9k dollars. I just want to see if their keyboards are good.

I've gone through 4 or 5 logitech g13 keyboards and 2 or 3 G600 mice since launch

Only problem is the g13s arent made any more .


It's one key that fails on all of them so I've changed keys to adjust that an not use that key

Well that's the problem with having movement assigned to WASD instead of the arrow keys sadly. Those are the Keys that keep dying on me and a few nearby keys as well like F..

I'm talking the keyboards built into the laptops. My first gaming laptop, an MSI Dominator the WASD keys went dead in a year. They blamed water damage when I sent it back to the manuacturer for replacement but the replacement started dying with the same damn keys after paying full price for what should have been a warranty repair. I ended up buying an external mechanical keyboard for it. Then last year I bought a ProStar gaming laptop and now it's F key appears to be going out on it. Not going to waste money shipping this one back to the manufacturer when the solution seems to be buying an external USB mechanical keyboard.

Technology is crap these days, I'm on xb and in 4 years went through 7 controllers. I dont rage or throw them like a child they just stop working. Buttons get jam or stop working joy sticks not working I could not use my ult for 3 months bc the RB LB stopped.

Yeah the reason I chose to go Gaming Laptops route was simply to save space. Desktop boxes just waste too much room and my living space is limited. I will be going USB on my keyboards from now on though.

I never use my laptop keyboard when I play ESO. I just attach an usb keyboard.

Orion G810 gaming keyboard. You'll never wear it out. The symbols on the keys are made of plastic so they never wear. It is a very sturdy piece of hardware.

I'm using a Razer Copperhead mouse and an ancient keyboard that's not available anymore. I think It's at least 20 years old. (still has db-9 and ps/2 connectors). Luckily, my motherboard still has a ps/2 keyboard connector. I had to get a db-9 to USB adapter in order to use the touchpad.

I just pop the keys off about twice a year and clean them along with all the "gunk" that falls in the keyboard itself. I love the keyboard as it's one of the few split keyboards that split between 5 and 6. That way, all my skills are 1-5 and my ultimate is 6. The gap prevents me from accidentally hitting my ultimate.

I'm still using the Logi original G15 I bought before I started WoW (so late 2005 - Christmas present more or less). Still working just fine, and I don't have issues with the keys because I have a KeySkin.... Guess what? If you have a KeySkin, it doesn't matter what you spill on it....

As for mice and headsets - yeah, three or four of each in those same 13 years.

Um. Rage banging? Nope. I just don't do that sort of thing.

i'm still using the keyboard/mouse from my previous pc, and i got those 6 years ago...only the mouse is starting to give way because of the wheel button...

Check out the Corsair K70 or K90, and the Logitech G810 and G910. I have the G910 and really like the Romer-G switches (rated for like 10 million keystrokes). The Corsairs you can get with whatever Cherry MX you like.
